We may have played poorly in both games but there was never a stage in the Namibian match where they threatened to win the game and as so many people bandy about, defence wins matches which was certainly the case against Georgia. They may have been scrappy but flukish they were not.
as for going down hill I don't think it is possible for this team to sink to any lower depths than they already have.
People say that Ireland are chokers but when it comes to crunch games in the RWC the French have a stronger grip on that mantle than Ireland. Not saying they will on Friday it should be a bp victory for Les Bleus and our chances will be well and truly done but the doubt remains.

I think Ireland can pull it together. They do, as many a commentator have said have the best ireland team ever assembled right now. If not now, when? That's what these guys need to get into their minds...this is their day, and their shot at it.
