EA is still an american brand when you look at it, and with that into consideration you can clearly tell by looking at their product lines: * Madden NFL 08
* NCAA Football 08
* NBA Live 08
* NHL 08
* Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08
* FIFA 08
* FIFA Manager 08
* NASCAR 08
* Rugby 08
* NCAA March Madness 08
* UEFA Euro 2008
I'm sure the reason why a rugby game isn't that big of a deal to EA is simply because the greater majority of sports fans in the US and here in Canada don't know that much about rugby and are drawn in by sports that they've known since childhood (hockey, football, soccer, basketball). You can also tell by the media coverage since its far more than difficult to actually watch rugby here in canada - not sure about the states - as the only way to watch professional rugby is to seek out setanta or media zone.
I'm sure as rugby grows and expands across canada and the US, so will the media and in turn so will the quality of rugby games produced by EA.
