What TV Show's are you watching/looking forward to?

American Gods - As someone who has not yet read the books, i thought it was a good start BUT could maybe have explain what was going on a bit more.

If it helps, it's supposed to be weird.
Beyond that, the gods walk the Earth, and Bryan Fuller is directing, weirdness is only to be expected.

If you have any direct questions about what's going on, I'm sure we'll be happy to explain.

I don't mind the weird thing I liked Legion which was extremely weird.

Just wasn't 100% sure the premise, but get it now thanks. I am starting to wonder if I'm better off getting the book or Audiobook now though.

Defenders trailer dropped looks interesting although if I'm being honest Iron Fist and second half of Luke Cage where pretty meh.

Just wish Fargo season 3 would be released.

And now, I'm looking forward to S3 of the last kingdom. First season was good, but could be a little patchy as an adaptation, let down by the principal's acting. This season they've done a much better job of the adaptation, and the principal has learned to act. IMO they do a better job of selling the number of men in an army than any show I've seen.

Pity about some of the character turn-over, but it does make sense, and they have paved the way well for them but... RIP Clapa.

This American Gods thing sounds like it could be down my street. I've never really had a look at Gaiman's stuff except when we read Coraline in school as 10 year olds (saw the movie too. Great book, but very trippy for a young mind), but I can tell I'll like it. Will I enjoy it more if I read the books first or can I just jump in? Might let a few episodes build up.

Haven't read the book but picked up a copy recently - flicked it open the other day directly onto a rather, well, intense sex scene..
11/10 would flick it open again.

As for me, have been revisting homeland the early series. Unfortunately, I've developed a rather unhealthy man-crush on Peter Quinn aka Sexybum

Which reminds me (brb)

TV watching has dried up a little recently now this season of Masterchef is over (every year it take over because of how many episodes are on).

Watching American Gods can't decide if I like the show yet....like Hannibal it might actually be the most beautiful thing visually on television however.

I'm also watching The West Wing for the umpteenth time if only to make feel like politics can be good.

On the to watch that I need to get down to is Shogun and B5. Not seen Shogun before but its one of my top reads and B5 is part of my indoctrination of my wife into all things geeky last year I got her into Star Trek so my work is almost complete.

Out of interest, is 'American Gods' where Hollywood rewrites history again, and Zeus et al have Colonel Sanders accents?

The new series of Orange is the new Black just came out so I'll be working through that over the next few days

American Gods is killing it for me right now. Biased, as the novel is one of my favourite ever books, but no-one can argue with the quality of the casting and visuals

OITNB was brilliant, only problem is that it's a whole year till the next one :(

Just started Frontier. Really liking it so far (only one episode in). Heard good things, And it's been renewed for two more seasons already, so I've got high expectations.
