Wallabies v Pumas to be played in London

i dont understand the reasoning behind this as surely not many of either teams supporters will travel all that way just for a one off game. plus it means both teams will have to get used to the time difference

I think it's stupid. I'd understand if it was being played in the USA or Canada, somehwere that the game needs more expansion (Like the NZ-Ireland game being played at Soldier Field), but to do it in England makes no sense. Just means that supporters of either team won't be able to watch it in person.

I'll give you a clue

Lots of Aussies and Argentinians in London; plus a local audience who will watch it at the right price or consider it a curtain raiser for the AIs.
Of course, it would make far more sense if Aus didn't have to travel back home for the pointless Bledilsoe III match; and (both) were able to stay up North to prepare for the November Internationals; maybe with a match or two against club/A/Students XVs

Neither Union is especially poor are they? The only reason for this I can think of is to increase profits.

Can't imagine the atmosphere will be too great either, with probably 90% neutral/just decided fans.

Wonder how the profits split as surely Twickers will take a lion's share?

It is wrong just plain........wrong with absolutely no justification and the IRB should have refused permission - mind you there are probably several vested interests at work here!

would have been a good idea for a match against the winners of pro 12 and aviva prem, that would be class. dont understand why this doesnt happen during AI's as well. they should play a few club sides
