<div class='quotemain'> Good match.
SA had five attacks, scored five tries: pure class. #8 looks good, front row killed Wales in the first half, but backrow might have been penalised more at the breakdown.
Wales choked at the lineout, died in the scrum, and just didn't give their backs a chance despite all the territory and possession. Henson is back, baby! Why did Hook keep refusing to spread the ball out right? I think he kept running back inside in the second half, and the only time he let it out was the kick through for Stoddart's try - must be some reason for that.
Ref was a bit busy with the whistle to begin with, but settled down.
Well done, SA - true world champions.

I dunno if you were watching the same game as I was, but first half Wales scrum was poor, second half they dominated, it was the best Welsh lineout preformance for some years, so I think you need to change the chocked mate!!!!
Wales put up a strong performance which I was dead pleased with! Although breaking the gain line was Wales worst problem.
Mind you the linseman Changlang was poor he missed two forward passes (one lead to SA try). Missed out on AWJ getting taken off the ball twice one by CJ Van Der Linder. This sparked 3 off the ball instances afterward and I think this bloke should be stripped of his job. Hes poor at Magners league level.
Mind you SA 5 attacks, 5 tries showd why they are World Champions!!
Well done SA
PS. watching Habana playing 7 was a joy to watch!

Well, Wales lineout gives hope for the future, but it did choke: Brian Moore kept making the point in commentary - whenever they got in to an attacking position they lost the ball. Otherwise, they were comfortable, which is good considering SA had the best lineout at the RWC.
Wales did better (not dominated) at scrum in second half, but they were up against a seven man pack for twenty minutes. Plus they turned down a kick at goal under the posts and lost the scrum; and I think the strike against the head was also in the second half.
I guess SA had the ability to apply the pressure exactly when needed to disrupt the Wales forwards.
I haven't seen Wales with so much territory and possession - ever? - and quicker ball at the breakdown and more passing out of the tackle will see them do a lot of damage. Still need to think more about their defence.
p.s. Changalanger is craaap.
