Fair point. It’s not like Malcolm Marx, Thomas du Toit, Lood de Jager, RG Snyman, Pieter-Steph du Toit, Grant Williams, Handré Pollard, Manie Libbok, Jesse Kriel, Cheslin Kolbe, and Edwill van der Merwe would have made any kind of difference.

They’re so down to the bare bones that they’ve even named one of the coaches as 25th man. Some bloke called. Vermeulen.

I dont see it as painful, they are probably the only rugby culture left who embrace the gladiatoral nature of the sport...
