Wales v Ireland, 02/02/13

Great first half from Ireland. Need to keep it up the number of times we've turned off for the 3rd quater and losing the game is mind boggling 40-60 is massive. Need to score first in the 2nd half considering wales play at the end there.
 
Didn't expected this from Wales...Ireland stick perfectly to their plan but one cannot say that there is any genious there - except for BOD of course.

Agree....hard to measure their worth but do not believe should think their Nov problems have been fully overcome from this one half

I'd say so - you've got so many Irish players competing at the breakdown, I think Tipuric should come on for Shingler and between Tips and Warbs maybe they can slow Ireland down a bit and win more turnovers
 
Well this will either be a massive turnaround with a comeback, or will be one way traffic!!!

Really disappointing how disjointed and lackluster we've started and played during first half. Lots of stupid self inflicted mistakes. The breakdown is killing us atm with Irish forwards bossing the rucks!

Its too early to start blaming individuals and their mistakes, the whole team is looking quite slow. The structure of defense seems to have been forgotten and I can imagine Shaun Edwards throwing a hissy in the changing rooms!!!

Irish are in complete control atm. I'm gonna say a Typical Jonathon Davies comment here - "First score of second half will be key!"

Also haha at Keith Wood - "That is Rugby and Sex!!" What a call on a piece of skill! I bet The BBC bosses are clenching their butt cheeks at that comment

To me, that looked like Shingler makes tackle - Shingler falls on wrong side and holds on to player making no attempt to move - Shingler is politely reminded by a boot that he's in the wrong place and starts trying to move but can't - Shingler is penalised. Looks harsh on stage 3, but it only happened because he didn't move when he should have on stage 2. So I think that was a fair decision.

Wales have been really poor, defence is absolutely all over the shop, and have taken ages to get any quick ball going. Also, I can't believe they're not dominating the scrum! But they aren't. Smells of undercooked pack that's only now waking up. Ireland have taken good advantage, but lets see what the second half brings. Think they should have another try though - that first move, whoever gave the ball to Gilroy gave it far too early with the result Halfpenny could drift onto him. If it hadn't, would have probably been on a try.

I think Wales can win this half. But winning the game? That would be special.
