On the back of the Nel injury we have picked up Wandisile Simelane from the Bulls for a swap for Cornel Smit. Feels like a big win for us and Simelane. We need a strong outside centre and he was great at the Lions but the Bulls ruined him by not playing him in his actual position. Looking forward to see how he does in our backline.

Jack Walsh got absolutely creamed there. Took the hit well, though, and, more importantly, got the pass away.

The Brewery Field looks almost like Underhill Park with all that rain... And play has been rather back-and-forth, though right now it seems that Cardiff have the upper hand.

Great try from Morgan Morse. Even though he's only 18 I'd call him up to the Wales squad anyway.

They have now totally given up trying to show the Ospreys v Cardiff match due to the technical difficulties caused by the heavy rain.

Ulster came to play so won't say we threw it away but we definitely shot ourselves in the foot a couple times there. Camped on their line with less than ten minutes on the clock, to not drop a goal is criminal.

Well done Ulster.

Lloyd twice put the Scarlets into a position to win that game and twice Costelow lost it for them.

I'd be happy to see Simelane get a look in if it weren't for the fact that Nel has been excellent and his experience and leadership counts for a lot especially given our injury list and especially in the centers.
