Can anyone tell me why NZ Super Rugby teams do not chase the ball after they restart and why they rarely chase box kicks etc?
NZ teams also lack the skill to receive these high bombs. Consequently, we frequently lose tries. Last night, on two occasions, this happened to the Highlanders. Our opposition realises this and successfully employs this technique.The same applies to the All Blacks -kicking long without chasing, losing possession, and then facing runners from depth charging back at us. When will we learn??? We have also rarely used drop kicks after a scrum or mall. Do we not have the skill set for this either?
