I vaguely remember Touhy from a distinctly average Ireland u21 side a couple of years ago. He didn't stand out then. I'm guessing they've signed him for squd depth purposes (with Caldwell and O'Donoghue starting) and he'll replace Carlo Del Fava in the squad.
Danielli has been an excellent signing for Ulster and thoroughly deserves to see his deal extended. Bryan Young is working his way back into favour. He probably won't get international recognition again but at 26 or 27 has plenty of mileage left.
Ulster Rugby has announced the signing of lock Dan Tuohy. The 23 year old, who currently plays for Exeter Chiefs, has signed a two year contract with Ulster. Tuohy is due to arrive in the province for 09/10 pre-season training.
Talking about Ulster Rugby's new signing, Ulster Head Coach Matt Williams remarked: "Dan is an impressive young Irish qualified player. He has come through a strong academy system in the Guinness Premiership, and been constantly a first-rate player. He has been on Ulster's radar for a while now, and I am delighted we have finally signed him up."
Ulster Rugby have extended winger Simon Danielli's contract by one year until 2010, and prop Bryan Young gained a two year extension, which will see him play his rugby with Ulster until 2011.[/b]
