Uli's Rugby 08 Mod Thread

thanks munross!

has anyone made a peter hynes face or a face of kade poki. poki's not in the game but i used the edit program and made him using shane drahm of worcester. i did that with loads of crusaders players like with kearan read and sean maitland. and i agree with whoever it was who said that carter hairsyle needs changing. i think also giteau should get the white/blue design scrum cap he uses for the western force. if thats too dificult then someone could make him without the scrumcap. thanks again.

ps: for casey laulala he could have the same face as v.waqaseduadua
or s.hufanga of tonga.

tim bateman could have ceri sweeneys face but im not sure about stephen brett.

plus wohever made mcalister hair update its brilliant but he has blue eyes and a bit of very subtle facial hair

and i swithed andy hazell of gloucester to james haskell.

thank you

thanks

sweet dude, any chance you could do the normal bokke kit.

man this is so awesome thanks so much ;)

edit: nvm my bad you did do a home version.

They look great in the game!
However, I would say in the WC kit the lines should be thinner, what do you think?

Uli are you planning on doing the Boks away kit aswell?Would be awesome!

Cheers
Ross

Thanks for the comments guys

@jawmalawm24: I can make any Canterbury kits in high resolution as i have the template. The next will be Australia and Ireland i think. I will start for the international teams first.

@diego: Yes the lines could be a little thiner. But maybe in-game it won't be noticeable. And maybe the WC kit it's a bit dark, but it seems good to me :D .

@ross munro: I'm making the Boks away WC kit but i don't know how is the new Away kit, do you have pictures? I think that it has the lines in the same color of the kit like the home kit.

I've just uploaded the CCC kits template in the downloads section. So if anybody will make a kit please tell me so i don't make the same kit.

Could you add the USA kit to your list of kits to-do?

Hey uli how do you add the headgear and hair textures to models in oedit? and is the uv mapper even usable? as it is so small cant see the select individual points. Cheers

You just have to select the points in the UV Map Editor and then select the Scale tool an make them bigger until they match with the texture. That's something that 'kabezon' teached me :D
You can make the same with the face texture, so you won't need any template and you can use the UV Map Editor.

Cool sounds simple enough. Is this the same for the Hair and Head Gear texture?
