Has Gordon Brown just given a month's notice, or is the UK going to do everything it can to keep the Tories out? Will the Lib Dems become relevant at any point? Will Parliament be hung? Will Mite explode at the mere thought of the Tories being criticised for being Tories?

This is the ultimate thread, the thread to end all threads! Stay tuned folks, stay tuned!

I will vote, but I don't want to vote for any of the mainstream parties. But I'll never ever vote for Cameron since he's to slimiest little arsehole imaginable. And seeing as my constituency, Brentford & Isleworth, is a direct Labour/ Conservative fight, I'll probably vote for Labour.

Hopefully there'll be a hung parliament and Labour and the Lib Dems will go into coalition, with Vince Cable somewhere senior. He chats a lot of sense.

I can't see me voting to be honest. Labour are dreadful, I'd sooner chop off my arm than vote Tory, and the Lib Dems are the equivalent of a protest vote. There really is no option for change.

I'll be happy if Cameron doesn't get in, the slimy c*nt.

Really don't know which way it'll go, there's a lot of people who won't vote labour because they hate Brown and think he's ruined the economy, and a lot of people won't vote tory because Cameron is a bellend

Watched Cameron this morning standing on a box preaching to the masses thinking he was a god, what an idiot!

Vote :ib Dem I say. It's only a protest vote as long as that attitude remains. If everryone who thought voting was a waste of time voted for the Lib Dems this time round then come the next election they'd be a major force. As is, they'll probably decide which way parliament goes.

A Spot of Indecision 2010!

I'm very happy about this situation because I fly to Japan on 6 May so now I have about a bazillion countdown timers on every major UK news website and newspaper!

I'm in a bit of a quandry as my MP (Kate Hoey) have voted how I want (against top up fees, against foundation hospitals, against the Hunting Ban, against replacing Trident, etc) but she is Labour. I'm a Eurosceptic tory voter but I may well end up voting Labour just to keep Kate Hoey in. She has a large majority of about 6,000 anyway so it'd take a big swing to get her out.

The last time I voted was when I was up in Scotland and I ended up voting SNP just to try and get the labour MP out.

For those who want to see what record their MP has, go to http://www.theyworkforyou.com/ and they have statistics on UK Parliament MPs, Scottish MSPs, Welsh AMs and NI AMs.

For example Kate Hoey: http://www.theyworkforyou.com/mp/kate_hoey/vauxhall

EDIT: The fun thing is that there is a huge sh*tstorm coming. This Parliament will be more hung than my c*ck and that means big trouble. Expect some turbulent times for the FTSE and Sterling against the Dollar and Euro after May 6th.

For those of you who are interested in what politics in the situation of a Hung Parliament is like, either check Wikipedia for Jim Callaghan's government in 1978 - 1979 or check out Canadian politics since 2004 odd when Paul Martin took over a large Liberal majorty from Jean Chretien, called a snap election and turned it into a minority government which eventually died circa 2006/7 since which Tory Stephen Harper has been limping along with a minority government.

£10 says either Gordon Brown or David Cameron gets in and later requests that the Queen prorogues (i.e. suspends) Parliament during the Olympics so the Tories can't get him out during 2012 ;)

Further Edit: The kingmakers here are naturally the Lib Dems but also watch for how the UUP and the DUP go. The UUP traditionally latch onto the Conservatives in government and were instrumental in saving John Major's government multiple times between 1992 and 1997. The DUP may not be so charitable however and may just abstain from any coalition building.

In the meantime, watch to see any movement from Labour to try and appease Plaid Cymru and the SNP. The latter isn't really going to happen as Labour and the SNP hate each other more than Mite and GingerG hate each other on here but the Welsh weirdos might be open to a deal if Wales got more autonomy and huge financial boost.

Oh yeah, and expect Alec Sammond, whoever it is who becomes Northern Ireland First Minister and Welsh First Minister Carwyn Jones to go to London soon after 6 May cap in hand to the Treasury in an attempt to protect whatever funding that was promised to them by the UK Government before the election.

Final edit: The more I look the more the UK seems to be turning into Canada. All we need now is some French people and Ice Hockey and we'd be well sorted.

Personally i dont agree with not voting... voting is your right to voice your opinion...

Well, if the ******* Liberals get in, I'm getting out. Aloha anywhere but under those wishy-washy fuckwits. High taxes, no freedom (unless you're an ethnic immigrant with a penchant for same-sex-underage relations... The LibDems will specifically look after you!)

This country is in a mess right now and I have one person to blame.

Now, when you do bad job and cost your company (which in this case is a country) £billions per year in the real business world, someone earning more a month then most of the TRF community takes home in a year should lose his job. Thanks in most part to the North of England *read Yorkshire* being so far up their own arses about coal mines and Maggie Thatcher, Gordon Brown has been allowed to backrupt the country and cause the hardworking element of society to be out on their ear.

I have bills to pay, but can't because that socialist fuckwit has killed the economy, given it no chance of recovery and so I've spent most of the last 18 months as a bloody statistic.

That **** for 13 years blatantly lied about the country being wealthy, yet now we're all broke and will be paying extortionate taxes for the next two decades just to break even. The NHS is now a joke, the roads are a laugh, nobody can afford a beer or a smoke, don't even consider driving your car for pleasure and woah betide you for wanting any control over your own life.

WMDs and Dodgy Dossiers to all.

Now we come to the other fuckwit.

While he's a clot and a buffoon, he's got one thing over his main rival... For all that's been done wrong, he didn't do it. Clean slate. Yes he's a smarmy ******* and no, you wouldn't want him kissing your baby. But for all the 'hilarious' northern fuckwits drawing their funny pictures on This website, He ain't buggered any thing up. Yet.

And when all is said and done, even the Irish government couldn't do a worse job then the socialists have here.

So, all in all:

If you hate existence, vote Lib Dem
If you're a northern socialist fuckwit who's too thick to understand why the country is bolloxed, vote Nu-Labour
If you're a gullable fuckwit who's fed up with the Northern fuckwits buggering up the country, vote Nu-Tory
If you're a Tofu eating fuckwit with less brains then a Northern socialist fuckwit, vote Green Party
If you're a racist fuckwit who hates all the South Africans that exist around Watford, vote BNP
If you're an arrogant fuckwit really must protest, do what people are supposed to do and vote Monster Raving Looney Party
If you're Ginger, vote Legalise Canabis

If you're none of the above, vote Bullitt. I am your new saviour.

It is Charlie, but the fact of the matter is that none of them deserve my vote.

And I vote Bullitt. SAVE_US.BULLITT

1. The PM earns roughly 190k per year, so monthly thats little more than 15k per month, before tax. I'm sure that most TRF members current;y employed in full time jobs in the UK economy bring in more than that per year. Of all the things Brown is, overpaid is not one of them - he's running the country after all.

2. The bad state of the economy now is not all Brown's fault. What we must remember with the free market is that it works in booms and busts. No one complaining now about high taxes and Brown causing the recession was complaining as recently as 2 years ago when the economy was soaring and everyone was benefitting.

Now, if people don't like the boom and bust nature of a free market economy, they can blame every government since Thatcher first relaxed state control Or they can sugggest another, more collective and state controlled economy, which will have just as many pros and cons. Or they can say 'we've had 30 years of increasing prosperity since the 80s, now we'll have some years of ****, and things will pick up again, because that's how things are'.

3. If you don't like paying high taxes, don't go and complain about the NHS, transport, and pretty much everything we take for granted in this contry which is paid for by taxation. Compared to most other countries in the world, we have an incredibly low level of wastage and corruption. If you want to pay for your own healthcare, pay tolls whenever you use a road, pay for your kids to go to school, go ahead and complain about taxes.

4. Whoever gets elected will spend the next 5 years working out whether to make cuts on public services or to raise taxes. Personally I think Brown and Darling far more capable of achieving this balance than Cameron and Osborne, clean slate or not.

Interesting point on proroguing parl during the Olympics.

I'm in a safe tory seat, will vote ind to reduce the state - but the Independent Network doesn't have anyone lined up . Can't identify any free thinkers.

None of it matters. UK is bust in so many ways. Electorate has no option but to abandon itself to the demands of the state's creditors.

Big question: what job does Mandy have lined up for himself? He's done Europe. Goldman Sachs?

Personally, we should be allowed to vote with a Vote of No Confidence.... This option is not allowed on the Ballot paper... in a true democracy, you should be able to vote that your not confident in anyone of the standing members.

I have been reading up recently a lot on lawful rebellion... and honestly believe it is only a matter of time until we go through a rebellion..

There are alot of things wrong with this country, and I could make a long list of them...

If there was a vote of no confidence Charlie, I'd be in.
