Hi guys,

I'm posting this in this section so everybody has access to it.
A couple of months ago I discussed the following idea with Bullit and Prestwick, why not trying to organize TRF meetings to visit games, cities etc...

People who would participate could leave positive feedback on the Linkedin profile of the organizers or just give us a positive rep.

The idea Prestwick and me where sharing was to visit Belgium for a beer meeting.
I immediately thought of Bruges as there is a very nice little brewery who produces : a lager, a double, a triple and a quadruple. They also serve fresh beer soup ;)

Yesterday, Ezequiel and me did a test trial and it was a huge success after having watched the 6 Nation games on Saturday.

An additional incentive would be to have rugby jerseys 1-15, and every participant could pick out is favorite number + his nickname printed on the jersey.

For now:

5: me, amobokobokoboko ( my old name)
8: Ezequiel

We could chose the 1st TRF 2011 meeting to put on the chest and maybe add an imaginary or real sponsor on the front as well. Ezequiel will check if he can fix us some Canterbury shirts.

As there are mutiple options to get to Belgium: Eurostar, Boat, plane . We will start working out the accommodation as soon as we know how people will be arriving.

For now the agenda could be the following:

Friday eve ( when staying in Brussels) visiting the Delirium, a beer bar with over 300 kinds of beer
Saturday: Brugge trip, visiting the brewery and Bruges and tasting and lots of fun.
Sunday recovering, souvenirs and back home.

Everything is open for discussing but we are aiming of scheduling this at the end of May, early June.

Cheers.

Smack bang in the Middle of the preperation for my exams so would be unable to attend :/ sorry gents .

No worries mate, even the exact date is still something we need to figure out. It's just that May- June are the best months when it comes to weather ;-).

Some additional info: the guided tour costs 5,5 EUR, includes a beer. The guides have a very dry sense of humor and on Sunday our guide mentioned that the Scottish visitors were kilts. did somebody say Scottish and kilt. Might wear my kilt.

Yeah probably won't be able for this. I've got exams through may and have to give a hand out to my mates with their Leaving Certs in June. Also gotta keep the job going.
