Some spectacular tries over the weekend, which we've boiled down to our Top 5.

Honorable mention to the Bulls pack for securing a penalty try with one of the best rolling mauls that I've seen in years (who says backs can't appreciate good work by the piggies ).

I think the best things about this weeks top tries is (probably with the exception of #5) they were real game-changers.

What did you think?

Leuia's was a brilliant individual team try, whereas the two from the Chiefs (and the Bulls' maul) were great team efforts.

What was particularly great about the last Chiefs try was that it was more about brilliant attack and backing up then shoddy defence. They played a deft move down the blindside and then other than one poor effort on TNW (which, admittedly, would likely have stopped the try had it been successful), it was all down to quick passing. The Woodward and (to a lesser extent) Leuia tries were just as much a product of terrible tackling as they were brilliant attacking.

I quite liked the Chiefs 1st try, was a lot of pick and go and one off the play passes, they kept it close to the ruck and played good strong forward running rugby with the odd back helping out. Great counter attacking out of our 22 of the back of a Bulls mistake.
