How can you name all these and leave out Duane Vermeulen? Looking for a better bet at 8 than Spies? Vermeulen is your man. Better defense, positioning and overall game management than Spies. Everyone always go on and on about Spies' running ability. The guy cant tackle and hasn't run over anyone since his first season! I'd go with Vermuelen/Alberts for Bok nr 8 jumper.

Hopefully we are able to select the squad...cause the one the IRB will give them will most likely be quite far off what they will actually be...as we have seen before. Select out of about 150 top players from the country...if there is only the 20 teams (Not confirmed); then this is an aspect that can give the game a longer life with more players to choose and play with.

EG. Get the main 22 from the Super 15 teams and select the top 20 guys playing in the Northern Hemisphere.

Hopefully HB also get or have already had some input from guys who know the players well...because some of the ratings of attributes in 08' was shocking...eg.if they don't know the guy then he gets 40...c'mon. Also looked about 2 years back on form...Montgomery with speed? never!! They should utilise the Forum if they want to get a free way of getting their player ratings correct.

If the game is going to only be a World Cup game then i can't see there being more than the official 30 man World Cup squads... Although it would be great to have 45 players from each country, made up of the 30 man squad and then have 15 players, one for each position as backups
