22-15 to Castres with 6 to go........could be the 33 home win out of 37 matches this season (and two of then wins were at Biarritz). This would be a great win against negativity of a talented Toulon side!
 
^ yup, good match, GREAT match for Castres. Very proud of them, fantastic result at home coz Toulon sure came to win this one, on the road or not.
Kockott's missed penalty off the post and then 50m drop made 5 seconds later was aawwwwwesome. That Saffa can play.

To confirm some superb predictions from TonyManx, and just the 5th​ away win out of 42 matches played to date, Racing, in a hard fought encounter at the Jean Dauger beat Bayonne (hurray!) in wind and pouring rain (which I did not see any of just 8 miles away!!). Sexton played really well and Racing were deserved winners.

The further good news was a defeat for Oyonnax but this only meant that Biarritz, after a decent performance from their "Espoir" backed team against Toulouse, are now bottom 4 points behind Brive, 5 behind Bayonne and 6 behind Grenoble and Oyonnax!

Next match for Biarritz is a home game against Grenoble and then Bayonne two miles down the road away..............do not think I am over stating the case when I say that these two games are critical to BO's survival in the Top 14!

i'm a very happy dessie ....until next week .....cant cope with the jekyll and hyde home and away thing !!!!! so smashed by Brive and then hopefully a stunning win against Toulouse the week after , especially as i'll be at that game !

Dont know the ages of our forumers but if you go back to the 70/80's when i was playing it was absolutely win at home and more often than not lose away with a weakened team, now in the Pro era we seem to be getting back to the old system and personally i think that teams will start targeting weaker sides away from home although there at not that many in the TOP 14 at home, especially when the H Cup starts as it could be the last in the format of today. Won't miss going to Wales for the rugby but the Guinness even in Wales is still drinkable. The fact that teams will be loosing at home less frequently could improve the attendances , most are still very good but as we say there is always room for improvement.
Gaston is contemplating suicide as his excellent run of 26 -100% correct match predictions came to a miserable end when Racing sneaked a win against Bayonne. He was just about to start gambling on himself. SILLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Yoe most kind, but still very young at heart, with a younger wife (that helps) although i will be clocking 63 at XMAS 24TH if you need to send a pressie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know what that means.

And as long as you have passion for Life (with a capital 'L') and are enthusiastic about whatever interests you (religion, history, natural sciences, philosophy, sports...) you're the same age where it counts, only wiser and with a lot more information than you had the past decade and hopefully a better human being.

oh and...in my obscure life (at the moment, things will get better) there is no weekend, week, time of day. So that's just a regular comment I'm making there :D and it's true too, it's not just meant to encourage you.
