Gastons predicktions for this weekend are;

home wins for Bordeaux, La Rochelle, Clermont, and of course Montpellier who will be looking for 5 pts.
away wins for Castres (sticking my neck out) and Brive, and i will again go for another almighty draw between Toulouse and Toulon. probably will not happen i have had my day of glory last weekend with the Paris v Clermont draw.

Must be the silly season Toulouse get stuffed at home 3 tries to zero by Toulon and + 30 tries this weekend 3 reds at Grenoble after an excellent old fashioned free for all where the hand bags were left in the dresssing rooms and punches were used instead. Clermont gave Racing the champions a lesson in fast running rugby, Montpellier get thier first attacking bonus point in the 80th min.Montpellier are back in the top 6 where they belong. Gaston reasonably happy hoping for more next week at Bayonne, tomorrow off to a vineyard to harvest grapes with the players and coaches, then a copious dinner to follow for all courtious of the winery. does it get any better.

forsome reason i cant play the video but i presume its the fingers in eye footage, its been well publisized in France, TV and written press, and the guy is or will be cited we will see what happens next, but he could be in for a long rest.

upgate on the Grenoble v Brive match.

the disiplinary committee TOP 14/ LNR, has summoned 4 Grenoble players and 3 Brivistes, for the general brawl during the match and Ugade for a suspected fourchette, this hearing is on the 28th Sept, the players given 3 red cards during the game are automatically suspended until the hearing, so everyone will have to be patient until then to find out the outcome of these events. Once again i must thankyou all for this interest in the TOP 14, a brawl and a good old fashioned fourchetting brings to the forefront the popularity of TOP 14 and France.
