Hi Gaston did you have a good weekend, yes thank you, Montpellier won In Paris beating Stade 20-26. do you look at the TOP 14 thread often?.... yes i do...... does anyone else post on there ?..... not sure...... and you are? ......... i'm Gaston...... ok thankyou,....do you think anyone else will post on this thread?....... not sure its full of foreigners and mercenercies and a few French, so they say!!!!!!! if i find anyone else interested in the world i will tell them,........ thanks Gaston........ no worries i will keep posting on my own, this could be a Billy no mates situation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but who cares!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha, shame Gaston. I don't really watch any top 14 matches, but I check every week to see if Jake White and his South African French team have won, which they did for the seventh straight game. Out of interest, how do Montpellier fans feel about the fact that Jake White has come in with so many South Africans? Are they annoyed or do they not mind because they are winning?

Exactly everyone was set dead against the Jake White SA band, JUST until we won one then 2 and now 8 on the trot 7 TOP 14 plus 1 1/4 Final v Sale away, now the fans think we are the best thing since sliced bread, short memory these muppets. The media excactly the same, critism all the time until last week, Benoit Paillaugue guest on The rugby specialists of Canal plus, TV report on our Academy, plus loads of TV interviews etc etc.I'm loving it as i do a load of media work for the club and cannot help myself when asked for player and coach interviews to remark that we are boring and uninteresting, which they all said just a few months ago, now we are the cream on the cake FU.....journos all shi...but i knew that anyways. I have been with the club for 10 seasons and this is absolutely wonderful and Jake is so easy to work with.

I am shocked to hear that, even with your exclamation marks, you are being left all alone on this thread! Where on earth have they all gone since the days when some guy from Biarritz and Kuwait kept you company?

Have moved to UK and renting while looking for somewhere to live so no satellite at moment so cannot keep up to speed but will do an Arnie at some stage!!

Touching its nice to know someone cares thank you TONY we have come a long way since the forum before this one (forgot its name) i shall battle on on my own at least i have good things to write about as we Montpellier are surfing along with excellence at the moment.Without shouting to loud from the rooftops i have a certain good felling about this season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You did well to escape Hollandland, i cannot as the sun is too important and would i find my Montpellier position anywhere else especially at my age.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Racing are still in both comps, but i cannot see them winning in Leicester this weekend, they will qualify in the TOP 14 first 6 but not sure where, the comp is now hotting up and nothing separates the top 6 a loss and a win by another and everybody will be more or less biting each others ankles, but would not have it any other way !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, we're not exactly numerous but we're there with you!

It's good to see Montpellier up there with the usual suspects - with the exception of Toulouse who've been blowing hot and cold this season.
Toulon, Clermont and Racing are beatable so if MHR's run of form continues, they could well win the Brennus, and I for one would be delighted.

As far as the European semi final is concerned, I'd expect Racing to bring the best out of Leicester, but Leicester's home advantage (Nottingham is only just up the road from Leicester!) will bring them through (and ok, yes, as an ex Tigers season ticket holder, I'm 100% behind them!)

Gaston was not upset he was just lonely and as they say if you want a good job done do it yourself and as i did not have any choice!!!! well there you go but it did work, woke up a couple of forumers. Got to agree i cant see Racing doing anything v Leicester, away from home and only miles from Leicester itsself. As far as the TOP 14 goes its still anyones to grab that is the TOP 6 PLACES. We are well placed for or semi or home barrage which ever it is but it is not in concrete just yet, we are playing very well as a team and squad and everyone is playing for each other, which i have not seen for many seasons. I can smell something good at the moment as i am very close to the players, we will see if we can go all the way in both comps, but as they say one match at a time starting with the Dragons on Sat.evening. I will be very busy as we have BBC Wales, Beinsport, France 4 and possibly Sky or BTSport tele, plus all the other radio and written press so will not see much of the game on Sat but could be fun all the same.

Word of advice if any of your players insult French referees beware. Silvere Tian of Oyonnax went before the disiplinary committee yesterday he shouted various insults at Mon Poite which were very strong and unneccessary, he was banned until June 2017 plus the club got itself a 10,000 € fine

Bloody good thing! Now let's clamp down on the constant chipping at ref's by all players about what players want and asking for TMO!!

This is exactly what we need to combat disrespect towards the referees - questioning decisions and demanding the opinion of the TMO.
Let's hope the Unions elsewhere follow suit and issue similar punishment and then this problem should disappear.
