Welsh international backs Tom Prydie - the nation's youngest cap - and Dan Evans have joined Newport Gwent Dragons.

Prydie should slot in at fullback, while Dan Evans'll probably be on the bench unless he can recapture his form from the first half of the 2009/10 season. I'd imagine Harries and Chavanga will be on the wings, although it's good to see them add some sort of depth.

Pleased with this. Prydie is still a great prospect, while Daniel Evans has shown some good form at times (09/10). With Chavhanga and Little Will we have a decent back three. Now just a tight five, halfbacks, and midfield!

Thought Robling was ok at 10 plus Stefan Jones from x keys looked a prospect from what I saw. Tight 5 is going to be an issue again especially with Charts off to sunnier climbs. Sidoli isnt going to last forever but at least you know what your going to get. WE NEED FRONT ROW. With the retirements to Willis and Burns and Buck and Way just not looking up to the job on more than one occcasion we need solid guys to come in ready to go, not prospects for three years time.

Not all doom and gloom though. The back row was/ is very impressive even if we discount Toby and Dan Lewis Evans looked good on occasion a bit more game time might help his consistency and Gavin Thomas gets through a load of work. Lets see how the new boys fit in plus Tuilagi in midfield may play more of a part this campaign.

I have heard that the move is off. It was subject to WRU approval, so that is probably where it ended.
We are now after a tighthead and some second rows. Considering we have Steffan and Lewis coming through, this recruitment strategy seems a bit more logical.

Steffan Jones has a good boot on his, his distribuation and defence need plenty of work. Robling is two extremes. Either he knocks every kick over, even from halfway, or he is worse than Rhys Priestland and Jason Tovey. He isn't a bad outside half though, keeps his head up and seems to have good time on the ball. My biggest (fixable) issue is with out inside halves. Bedford and Wayne Evans are kak. Jonathan Evans is our best option, but Darren doesn't seem to think so. I even liked Leadbeater, he had very good service, but he is now off to France.
