The problem here is that no one has any clue what either of you are arguing about.[/b]
Yes, Prestwick always confuses everything. I agree.

He'll reply to this with some manga porn and declare the argument over.

WOW!! nearly in the same group as Gandhi, Mandela & the Dalai Lama.

Britain is wealthy?

Second graph on external debt is about the Square Mile so don't worry - most of it flowing through the world's major banking centre, so the debt is not all the UK's. The third graph is what matters - be very worried, especially with NuLab set for another five years:

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div>
The United Kingdom is an interesting economy in particular because its aggregate consumer debt alone ($2660 US Billion) is roughly equal to the nation’s total GDP. In this sense, the UK is just like your friend that spends exactly what they make, or even beyond their means to try and impress his/her friends. This is worse than living month to month â€" it’s like living a month to two months behind! And now, the UK is accumulating new debt at a faster rate than the economy. If the UK were a private citizen, it might be time for him/her to sell off what they can and move to Panama, or declare some type of bankruptcy.[/b]

Note that the US is in a relatively good position. Despite Bush and Obama, they still have the power.

I think that working in a fairly low paid job has made me lean more to the left than it would when I was still a student.

The worrying thing is, the person I'm closest to is the Pope, and I'm a Prod :s
