Joe Simpson is a Football Manager fan. He tweeted the football manager people asking for an early copy for the England lads,

He is now officially my favourite England rugby player solely because he likes football manager...probably explains why he's not currently living up to his potential though....must be addicted.

Therefore he is on my dream team.

On one of the O2 inside line videos it showed to England players on the plane to NZ and Toby Flood and Ben Youngs were both on FM as well (and apparently were the entire journey) :p

Needs more Kleeburger

The Russian dude for Picamoles. Maybe SOB to 8 and Kleeberger in at 6.

Franks vs Jones is worth debating, as is Fotuali'i v Young, DTH vs Conrad and possibly Arlidge v Carter too.

Besides that it looks on the money.

6.O'brien
7.Warburton
8.Mamaluke Gorgodze (How can he not be with a name like that, next to that he's an awesome player.)
9.Youngs
10.Carter (Can't be anyone else really.)
11.A.Tuilagi
12.Nonu
13.Smith
14.Clerc
15.Dagg

Just missed out: Kahui, A.Jones, J.Roberts.

I'd say Paul Williams (Manu Samoa fullback) is the best performing no.15 at the moment. Hes scoring tries, setting them up, doing big hits (probably one of the biggest hits from the worlds backs so far) and drilling shots at goal.

I can get behind that - Williams a great player and has been on good form
I want him back at Sale :(

The three standout players for the AB's so far have been Kahui, Nonu and Dagg (three man of the match awards as well) and Jerome Kaino.

Can't fault this selection at all.

Good work

Adding my picks

1 Cian Healy - leading the charge for a resurging Ireland
2 Stephen Moore - his absence highlighted how much Aus needs him, brilliant in the games he has played
3 Martin Castrogiovani - can't wait to see him and healy against each other
4 Danie Rossouw - has more than filled the boots of both Matfield and Botha
5 Alun-Wyn Jones - has stood tall for Wales (couldn't help myself)
6 Jerome Kaino - has just been immense for NZ and has done the work of two IMO
7 Sam Warburton - forward of the tournament so far IMO
8 Mamuka Gorgodze - starring in an minnow team also the most archaic and bad ass name
9 Francois Hougaard - player of the tourney for me so far, pulled it out of the fire against Wales and hasn't looked back since
10 James Arlidge - Steyn has most points in the tournament and they're tied for most tries for a 10 but Japan..
11 Richard Kahui - looks just as classy at 11 as at his usual 13
12 Francois Steyn - equal most tries at center as set up even more, a tower in defense and can kick as well
13 DTH van der Merwe - never heard of him before the tourney but I'm a believer
14 Chris Ashton - has added workrate to his great finishing also most tries in the tournament so far
15 Kurtley Beale - no real stand-outs IMO while Beale has gone through a ton of work and was the only back that had Ireland worried at times

Just missed out
Taulmalolo, Jones, Perenise, O'Connell, O'Brien, Faletau, Steyn, Carter, Roberts, Nonu, Smith

I'd have one huge disagreement with this - Picamoles isn't even the best N0.8 in the French squad. I'd probly go for Wales' south sea islander, Faletau. I hope as the tournament progresses England's South sea islander, Tuilangi will press for a place.

That aside, its shades of opinion, probably ashton over evans, dagg over beale
