This is Guscott's team of the round, I'll let you know mine once I've written the blog!

What do you think?

EDIT: Err... you may have to click on the image to see it, why is it so small!?

The analysis of why each player makes the team can be found here: http://fourballsblog.blogspot.co.uk/2015/02/team-of-round-2-6-nations.html

But my team of the round is as follows:

Hogg
Williams
Morisi
Dunbar
Joseph
Sexton
Youngs
Parisse
Robshaw
Dusautoir
AWJ
Toner
Ross
Ford
Marler

Dan Lydiate is a weird call. I also imagine Basterau will question the Italian centre at 13 ;)!

Yeah it's pants as usual to be honest with the difference of opposition TOTW is pretty hard to gauge correctly. Much prefer player ratings as a talking point and Team of the Tournament at the end.

Italy got thumped yet have 3, France have 2 (1 being a 9 who when his replacement came on France only sarted to perform) and Ireland have 1 (none in forwards despite them beating up the French pack for large periods).
I'm totally confused

15. Hogg
14. Williams
13. Morisi
12. Henshaw
11. Joseph
10. Sexton
9. Webb
8. Parisse
7. Dusautoir
6. Warburton
5. O'Connell
4. AWJ
3. Any stand outs here?
2. Same again... Hibbard seemed reasonably effective.
1. Marler

How Kockott or Lydiate can be picked is beyond me.

Spot on really, except Dunbar was excellent at 12 and Ross Ford was surprisingly effective at 2.

In terms of tight-head.... not many of the six nations tightheads are tearing it up around the field right now, so I'd be tempted to go with whoever gave the opposition scrum the hardest time

Dunbar was easily the best 12 of the round,
I'd say Ford for 2, Hibbard looked lively in the loose but his set piece work was atrocious. Wales should play him at 6, cause Lydiate's contributing nothing to the team.

not sure why Morisi is in there, sure he scored a nice try when he stepped Attwood, but he also got opened up a but IIRC (tackle stats are 6-2).

Thought Hogg and Kearney were the best two Fullbacks on the Weekend.

My team would probably be:

Marler
Ford
Cole
Attwood
AW Jones
Dussatoir
Robshaw
Parisse
Laidlaw
Sexton
Williams
Dunbar
Burrell
Huget
Kearney

I don't think Burrell was effective enough to make the side, I was expecting more against the Italians, which is why I'm gutted he is in my fantasy team over Joseph (worst call ever, I know). I do think Hogg was better than Kearney as well, and Halfpenny for that matter. Can see why you went for English props though, the English pack have been pretty amazing so far and will have a chance to show how dominant they can be in a fortnight against the Irish.

I thought Burrell was best of a bad bunch, maybe Davies for his try, but i don't think anyone really put their hand up.

Hogg vs Kearny - think Hogg had more exciting moments but also messed up a few things (big fan of hogg though).

No JJ ? Surprising .... Any reason why you would have LB there instead ?

I had JJ in as a winger as that is where he played most of the match. Also allowed for inclusion of a very impressive Dunbar and double try scorer Morisi. And thte wingers were pretty poor other than Williams and then Huget.

No massive reason other than I couldn't decide on JJ being classed as a center or a wing as most of his briliance came wehn slotting in as a usual centre, but he moved from there to the wing (don't knwo if that makes sense), and LB played 12 then 13 and was pretty solid - he and 36 totally created the turnover for JJ's first try.

Well he certainly has to feature somewhere, man is a machine.
