Looking forward to this game. Should be a cracker as we say.

Good games this week. Brilliant round this one.

HURRICANES: Andre Taylor, Cory Jane, Conrad Smith, Tim Bateman, Julian Savea, Beauden Barrett, TJ Perenara, Victor Vito, Karl Lowe, Faifili Levave, Jason Eaton, Jeremy Thrush, Jeffery Toomaga-Allen, Dane Coles, Ben May.
Reserves: Motu Matu'u, Reg Goodes, Mark Reddish, Jack Lam, Chris Eaton, Charlie Ngatai, Alapati Leiua

Canes pretty much full strength with Savea, Perenara and Jane Back in the starting lineup. Shields still missing but they have Lam on the bench, Karl Lowe has been impressive since he made his comeback

is Taumalolo the best finisher in the world from two metres out?

I think so. Yes.

Looking forward to this game. Chiefs have had the best defence in the competition while the Hurricanes have had the joint best attack. I think the Chiefs will probably win this one, seeing as they are at home and are on form. That being said, looking forward to Peranara, Savea and jane returning, should make a big difference. Also be interesting to see Barrett v Cruden.

I'd probably favour the Hurricanes for this one... Chiefs coming back from a hard long tour, Rennie pretty much said they were knackered.

If the weather stays fine I'm sure it'll be a very high scoring affair.

yeah I'll be interested to see the Chiefs lineup for this game, I think they are at the stage where some of the players need a break and I dont think the upcoming bye is soon enough, Retalick, Clarke, Messam and the two props have done a Huge amount of work, Barlow looks like he's slowed down a bit add to that Kahui has a broken nose and Masanga was KOed

I expect so see some changes... But they can't change too much at once, waiting to see when brendon Leonard and Toby smith will be back. That will help.

Not a bad Chiefs side running out for this one... All injuries from the last game having no effect.

Team: Andrew Horrell, Lelia Masaga, Richard Kahui, Sonny Bill Williams, Tim Nanai Williams, Aaron Cruden, Brendon Leonard, Alex Bradley, Tanerau Latimer, Liam Messam, Brodie Retallick, Craig Clarke, Ben Tameifuna, Hika Elliott, Arizona Taumalolo. Reserves: Mahonri Schwalger, Toby Smith, Michael Fitzgerald, Sam Cane, Augustine Pulu, Jackson Willison, Asaeli Tikoirotuma.

Nanai-Williams returns with Tikoirotuma dropping to the bench. Leonard is back after eight weeks injured, starting in place of TKB who drops from the 22 (he looks like he needs a rest). Latimer and Elliot swap places with Cane and Schwalger too.

This will be a great game!!!

I honestly think the Chiefs will take this one fairly comfortably, Hurricanes thrive off broken play and disorganised defences which the chiefs are definitely not.

I'd definitely predict a fairly high scoring games but I can't see the Hurricanes taking more opportunities than the chiefs.

yeah great to see Leonard and Toby Smith back, I've been saying for a couple of weeks that barlow needs a rest and he gets it. only concern with Leonard is he's the type of player that needs a couple of games to get back to form but he has to get that gametime somehow and he's prob the better option at 9 going into the playoffs - he was in fantastic form before his injury so he should be good.

Go chiefs, I think their defense is going to be too much for the canes. Pretty obvious when playing this canes side ball security is a must, make that a priority and they should be fine.

Hopefully Leonard whips it off the deck quickly and gives Cruden a bit of time. Kerr-Barlow often takes a bit too much out of the delivery and cuts down Cruden's time. A big part of his form in the ITM cup (he won MVP of ITM) was all the speedy ball he got from Aaron Smith.

Hoping Andre Taylor fires up this week. He seemed like his head was in the dumps last week. With Jane and Savea hopefully we see more of those fine line breaks

... and ... here we go ... wow, I didn't realise that Fred "the Needle" Allen had paased away.

It will be interesting to see how that new guy ... what's his name ... oh yeah ... Brendon Lennard goes at half back :p ... Kerr Barlow has been playing so well while Lennard's been injured

Bad penalty, Jane was the tackler, didn't come from the side... Poor refereeing

Interesting that the ref is penalising for players being off side ... I think that they are a little lax at policing that area of the game some times

What a season Andre Taylor is having ... great try :)

Yeah I agree, and even though those are the rules, it sucks when they let it go for SOOO long and then decide to start penalising out of the blue. Even though those are the rules and I'm all for it,... just be consistent throughout the year...
