This is going to be brutal!

But I think the Cheetahs will be worse off than the Sharks after last weekend's matches, but it also so often happened that the team who had a harder game the previous week, comes out on top...

Still think the sharks to pull it off...

Man, I am ready for this one. Losing road-matches is our thing lately and we need to start winning those as well. We have the easiest run in of any team, with the Stormers, Cheetahs and Bulls still at home and only the Lions on the road after this. We also have 1 bye still waiting for us.

Slowly but surely the injury list is getting shorter. Kankowski and Mtawarira are back while others are getting back on track to their better form. We have a lot of talent but need more consistency. Everyone put the Sharks at the top of the SA conference when the season started but we need some proper experience in the backs-department. Viljoen was a welcome addition, but we will only be really ready to go once Francois Steyn joins the Sharks.

Playing your bogey side twice and the two teams with the most log points (Bulls top and then Stormers joint with the Chiefs) is easy? Sheesh, someone is confident.

Bulls at home, Stormers at home, Cheetahs twice... Should be at least 15 points. Lions in Jo'burg is difficult, but I feel we can beat them. Sharks will go into the play offs. We just have to avoid the Crusaders.

Both line-ups are confirmed now.

Sharks:
1. Tendai Mtawarira, 2. Bismarck du Plessis, 3. Jannie du Plessis, 4. Steven Sykes, 5. Anton Bresler, 6. Jacques Botes, 7. Marcell Coetzee, 8. Keegan Daniel (c), 9. Charl McLeod, 10. Patrick Lambie, 11. Lwazi Mvovo, 12. Tim Whitehead, 13. Paul Jordaan, 14. JP Pietersen, 15. Riaan Viljoen

Replacements:
16. Craig Burden, 17. Wiehahn Herbst, 18. Willem Alberts, 19. Jean Deysel, 20. Ryan Kankowski, 21. Frederic Michalak, 22. Meyer Bosman

Cheetahs:
1. Coenie Oosthuizen, 2. Adriaan Strauss (c), 3. WP Nel, 4. Izak van der Westhuizen, 5. George Earle, 6. Heinrich Brussow, 7. Justin Downey, 8. Philip van der Walt, 9. Piet van Zyl, 10. Riaan Smit, 11. Willie le Roux, 12. Andries Strauss, 13. Robert Ebersohn, 14. Cameron Jacobs, 15. Hennie Daniller

Replacements:
16. Hercu Liebenberg, 17. Trevor Nyakane, 18. Andries Ferreira, 19. Ashley Johnson, 20. Tewis de Bruyn, 21. Sias Ebersohn, 22. Philip Snyman

Sharks have been the loose forward-factory lately. All loose forwards we have within the 22 are Springbok material, even Botes. He is underrated.

Good to see Lambie is okay after last week.

Ok boys and girls, with all this talent in the lose trio, who would you guys pick for the springboks on 6, 7, and 8, bearing in mind that we have guys like Brussouw, Schalk, Spies, Vermeulen, Johnson, and Mr Strauss from the other teams also knocking on the door?

To answer the loose trio question: I would test some new players. Give youngsters a chance to show what they can do.

Jacques Potgieter, Marcell Coetzee and Duane Vermeulen would be my pick for new guys. That, with Daniel, Brussow and Alberts for the England series. This with Spies in mind and knowing Burger is injured

You know that both Jacques Potgieter and Duane Vermeulen are out injured right? I'd Pick Marcell Coetzee, Brussouw, Josh Strauss, Ashley Johnson, Pierre Spies, Willem Alberts and CJ Stander...

Will they both be out for the series as well? Thought they only suffered light injuries...

If that's the case, please no Johnson.... I prefer Botes or Elstadt over Fro Jo

Both have the same injury like Schalk and Nick Koster have... so yeah I think they're not going to be part of the plans. Elstadt?? Have you watched Super Rugby at all this year?? he's a thug, doesn't contribute much, and isn't a flanker.

Jacques Botes is too old... time to let the young guns shine...

Fro Jo is not a youngster either. How about Deysel? He was pretty good last year. Actually one of the few playing good enough in the Tri Nations

OMW!! you have been gone long!! Deysel hasn't started a game i think this season for the Sharks yet... and whenever he did came on, was rather poor...
