Viljoen was a welcome addition, but we will only be really ready to go if Francois Steyn joins the Sharks.
Man, I am ready for this one. Losing road-matches is our thing lately and we need to start winning those as well. We have the easiest run in of any team, with the Stormers, Cheetahs and Bulls still at home and only the Lions on the road after this. We also have 1 bye still waiting for us.
Slowly but surely the injury list is getting shorter. Kankowski and Mtawarira are back while others are getting back on track to their better form. We have a lot of talent but need more consistency. Everyone put the Sharks at the top of the SA conference when the season started but we need some proper experience in the backs-department. Viljoen was a welcome addition, but we will only be really ready to go once Francois Steyn joins the Sharks.
Ok boys and girls, with all this talent in the lose trio, who would you guys pick for the springboks on 6, 7, and 8, bearing in mind that we have guys like Brussouw, Schalk, Spies, Vermeulen, Johnson, and Mr Strauss from the other teams also knocking on the door?
To answer the loose trio question: I would test some new players. Give youngsters a chance to show what they can do.
Jacques Potgieter, Marcell Coetzee and Duane Vermeulen would be my pick for new guys. That, with Daniel, Brussow and Alberts for the England series. This with Spies in mind and knowing Burger is injured

Will they both be out for the series as well? Thought they only suffered light injuries...
If that's the case, please no Johnson.... I prefer Botes or Elstadt over Fro Jo

Fro Jo is not a youngster either. How about Deysel? He was pretty good last year. Actually one of the few playing good enough in the Tri Nations
