Super Rugby Pacific (2024)

He's a very good player but lack of ability was never his problem, staying fit for longer than 5 mins was. Hopefully he stays injury free but if I was a betting man I'd say he'll pick up an injury in the next few weeks. Hope I'm wrong obviously (even though the Chiefs are my team but highlanders are my honoury second team now)
Yep. This was always going to happen and I see he's leaving now as well. Obviously don't know if it's injury related but considering he was out since, what, April time? I wouldn't be surprised. I rate him but his career has been so stop start he's never really progressed like he should have done. He had a good start to the season though, it's a shame.

apparently he left Dunedin about a month ago, a good few weeks before our last game.

dont get me wrong, he probably has family commitments back in the UK....but if i had committed to the whole season and spent 6 months over here with the squad i cant help think i would support the boys till the end, end of season celebrations etc

i think it was more surprising for me because the highlanders hadn;t made it clear his season was over, they still havent said what the injury was really, so we were thinking he might be back at any moment, all a bit anti-climatic

Patchell and Halfpenny on the first flights to the UK as soon as possible highlights their seasons TBH.

Let's hope Mchnicol keeps up the good start hes had.

It's a bit like the URC season...

Noone really cares.

Congrats to the Blues, I thought the Canes were going to wipe the floor with everyone tbh.
