Well, I wouldn't go as far as saying the Blues suck.
They were really disrupted in both the forwards and backs prior to the game and during the game they lost Anscombe to the bloodbin for a while as well. The Stormers have a knack of making teams who rely on gaining front foot ball look average for large parts of a game through gritty driving defense but the Blues looked very dangerous once they gained some momentum.
It's early in the season yet and most teams would be very happy to come away with 4 log points after playing away to the Bulls and Stormers.
I'm not meaning to take anything away from the Stormers mate, but they are not that good either. A good team would have beaten them.
Especially considering they were without Schalk Burger. face facts- Habana's try was down to ineptitude from Lam.
When your (read: the Blues) game plan is restricted solely to one of runners off the ruck, and utterly aimless kicking, then you haven't a hope.
Its not good enough to say its OK to come away with 4 points from a trip to SA.
That is the same loser talk I have heard enough of from the Blues since Pat Lam took over.
As I have said time and time again. The real top class teams would not be happy with anything but winning all their games.
If you have a goal to win 50% of matches, then thats all you'll win 9/10 times.
