Just as a sidenote, Donald is an absolute twat.[/b]

please explain?
[/b][/quote]

He was standing behind the goal posts when Weepu was lining up a kick and some people started giving him stick, calling him a ******, etc. Rather than ignoring it like all the other players were, he turned around and started throwing the crowd filthy looks. After the Chiefs won he then came over by the terraces and did two big fist pumps as if to say 'up yours'.

I'm not sure that it was only the Hurricanes fans giving him lip though, because they were mainly getting drowned out whenever they made any noise. In saying that, I got the feeling that most of the Chiefs fans rated him pretty highly.

I dunno, maybe I'm overreacting/overanalysing this but I just thought it made him look like a bit of a jerk-off.

As another sidenote, I didn't really catch much of the second semi-final as I was out on the town. The only thing I recall is Brett kicking the first penalty and the score seesawing up and down every couple of minutes (or so it seemed) before the Bulls handed the Crusader's their asses on a plate.

I think I'd like to see the Bulls win it again, but that might just be sour grapes.

<3 Bulls, best SA team IMO, Hurricanes were my fave NZ team of the year and Reds for Aus :S

fair enough, never met him, maybe he is a ******... i like his game though.

i really hope the chiefs win, even though the bulls are a great team, i just don't like their style of play.

I was at the game, and it was incredible! Awesome atmosphere! Also, it was a fantastic game. I will upload some photo's soon! The Crusaders started so well, but they just didn't have the same intensity as the Bulls. I honestly think it's damn near impossible for other teams to beat them with a full house at Loftus.

Morne Steyn pretty much cemented his Bok jersey. (He better have anyway.) Though he won't start, i think Ruan Pienaar needs to up his game...

Pierre Spies again showed why he is one of (if not the-) best number 8 in world rugby. The guy ran a 50m try and totally burnt a centre! Incredible pace and strength.

It's going to be on helluva final.... :bravo:

I doubt i will be able to get tickets hey. After the game on saturday, people started whipping out their camping gear to stay over night for tickets. But man i wish hey...

HAHA yeah all the tickets are probably all sold-out by now.

Hopefully Sione Lauaki won't get away with "murder" this time around <_<

Well... Pierre Spies > Sione Lauaki

So we shall see...

I just sent my brother a sms, he is about 50 meters away from the ticket office right now. They handed out a ticket to each person with a number on it if you don't have one you can't buy tickets. It sounds as if they are limiting people to either 4 or 6 tickets per person.

just curious but does anyone think that mccaw was still carrying a bit of an injury of sorts? he seemed really off his game on the weekend which could be just the altitude/crowd/time changed but i dont think mccaw has ever been so quiet, and he isnt the one to buckle under pressure... just my opinion but he missed tackles, wasnt seen at the breakdown as often and i didnt see him in support play (apart from whitelocks break in the start), of course he could just be having a one off game, but he has seemed a bit off since his headknock, again, just my opinion... great game though, fierce game by the bulls, i dont think the chiefs should play an open game against them, even though it is their strength. imo i think the crusaders had the gameplan right in the start, playing territory, keeping it tight and a fierce defensive line, with competition in the breakdown/lineouts especially and also the scrums which they were dominant in, it was when they played a wider game they seemed to struggle. But i guess they arent the chiefs strength, still it should be a cracker of a match. Cheering for the chiefs (as i have been for the past 6 years, i just thought id support a local team like the reds 2 years ago...just pointing it out lol XD ) but i believe the bulls will win it unfortunately with a strong territory game and lineout advantages over the chiefs, im hoping de malmanche leads the forwards with real aggression and mongrel to keep the game tight, which i think is the only way to beat the bulls along with a performance like last week from sione lauaki
