Stormers look to sign Brussow from Cheetahs
Western Province and the Stormers have made Cheetahs and Springbok fetcher Heinrich Brussow a massive offer to move from Bloemfontein to Cape Town.
Sources close to Western Province have revealed that they have made an offer of between R2.5-million and R3-million a year for the flanker.
Brussow comes off contract at the end of the season and there is interest in him from other Super Rugby franchises in South Africa and overseas.
Cheetahs coach Naka Drotske says that they hope to Brussow but that they do not know yet whether Brussow has decided to stay or move on.
"We have made an offer to him, and we haven't heard back yet, so at this stage this is all I know," Drotske told SuperSport.
"Of course we would want to keep him, he is a world class player and we want him to remain in Bloemfontein."
Brussow has not played much Super Rugby over the last two years due to injury and was injured three times this season.

Well, this was just a matter of time. Sad really... After losing Basson last year to the Bulls, now Brussow might move to Cape Town. This way the Cheetahs will neverbe able to build a team
