From the 32 man squad I would like to see:

1. Sheridan
2. Chuter
3. Stevens
4. Shaw
5. Kay
6. Haskell
7. Rees
8. Easter

9. Gomersall
10. Cipriani

I'd rather have Tait at 13 and leave Tindall out, but there are no obvious alternatives at fullback other than Balsack, and obviously we all want him as far away from the team as possible. Tindall would also add a bit of weight to the midfield, although I would rather see the position filled by Hipkiss. Don't care who captains, I just think Stevens offers so much more than Vickery all over the pitch. If you start with Cipriani, you then have the experience of Wilkinson to bring off the bench along with Vainikolo, who I can't see starting but would be an amazing impact sub to have waiting in the wings.

To be honest i'd start with Wilkinson, with Cipriani to bring on for impact. To be honest i don't care to much for the building for the future stuff. Establish a winning team and introducing young players to a winning test environment is surely the way forward. For that reason alone i wouldn't put too many new caps in initially.

Yes, but you have to establish that winning team first, Stormster. Considering the lack of time to properly prepare for the Six Nations means that the idea of creating a team based around those who were in the World Cup final before gradually phasing in the new guys is sound.

Remember that the likes of Varndell, Croft, Allen, etc are in the infancy of their illustrious careers, making them fight for places will do them no harm.

As Tait is far better in broken play, I think his natural position is at full back.

I caught Edinburgh Cardiff last night on Setanta last night after the pub.
(From what I remember) John Yapp had a good game, I would prefer him to Horseman to be quite honest.

Pitty he's a looshead, I've said before that he should have been, and still should be converted into a tight head to solve our problems there.

He's been keeping Gethin Jenkins out of the Blues team recently, still a young guy too.

I thought Jenkins was competant at loose and tight, that's why he is often on the bench because of his versatility?
