Red wine is a good route to follow as Hein suggested.
I myself love a ton of cream and a good quality ground pepper along with a good mix of mushrooms with a lamb pot. Maxed out with potatoes, onions (I like both quite chunky; not chopped to bits) and baby marrows, seasoned to taste and eaten with pot-bread and farm butter accompanied by a glass of Pinotage....
It's a bit rainy in the Cape ATM... damnit, I'm going to start with a pot sommer nou!
