Since high-powered consoles spelt the demise of video arcades, fighting games have struggled to make an impression on the modern gamer. Continuing the defy this trend, the ever-popular Soul Calibur series returns this year, bringing things up to date with online multiplayer and fully customisable fighters. Mind you, with the surprise addition of Darth Vader (PS3 exclusive) and Yoda (360 exclusive) as playable characters, chances are you'll overlook most of the new features, in favour of mastering the violent ways of the Force.

Well this is one of the big games for me and absolute Awesome fighting game, not much else has compared to Soul Calibur I and Soul Calibur II since they were released on the Dreamcast... And the inclusion of two of probably the most recongnisable characters has just made it more appealing... The graphics look Superb, and I can't wait to get my hands on this to play it to death... and there are not many games I say that about!
