[Six Nations 2018] Round 3: Ireland vs Wales (24/02/2018)

Should have reversed it for Biggar shouting at the referee, you can't speak like that to the officials.
If barnesy boy was reffing he'd have whipped out a card

Great stuff.

Rucking has been class. Don't think we've had a turnover that wasn't a rip.

If we lose by less than 6 points Sexton has a lot to answer for missing those absolute sitters.

Some really stupid mistakes but I think we're showing much better attack than the first 2 games. When I played with Farrell at school he was a second row which says it all.

22% possession for Wales and 13 points. Surely they'll start to tire faster than Ireland soon?

Ireland protecting the ball really well at the breakdown giving us no chance of a turnover .

Wales have this really annoying habit of not tiring when other teams not from NZ would.

Is Farrell comfortable at 12 or an out and out 13? I'd be interested in seeing him and Ringrose in the midfield together.

More of a 13 but he's been used at 12 before I think. With Bundee having ***s for hands it might be a runner, if it works well Henshaw could be a permanent 13.
I think ringrose is a better 13 than henshaw and definitely will be better long term. Henshaw is a better player than Farrell at 12 or 13 so I can't imagine why you'd break up the club partnership of henrose

Bit of a strange half. Ireland definitely deserving of a narrow lead but got there in a roundabout way. Hard to predict how the second half will pan out but I think Ireland will take control from here and win comfortably.

Very even. Wales need more than one try per half to win at this level and they don't think they have made the team selection to achieve that. If Ireland are disciplined in defence they should ease away on the scoreboard.

I do sense Ireland are a bit tense here though. Quite conservative play.

Biggar too busy screaming for a penalty to hold on to the ball, what a whiny idiot
