Final Score:

Sharks 47 - 25 Chiefs

Verdict:

Although the Sharks poured in the points in the second half, the Chiefs didn't look to bad.

I rather annoyed that this wasn't as close as it should've been.

It could've been a great game had it not been for two illegitimate tries from the Sharks and Callum Bruce.

First of all this was the best game of running rugby of the season imo. Sharks were brilliant and took their chances, the Chiefs werent bad but were poor in defense. Levave, this guy is gold, he hands off a couple of players every run.

Well done to the Sharks, im very dissapointed that ultimately the Stormers blew a chance to get to the semis but fair play to those Durbaners. 7 tries against a top side deserves to get a side to the semis even although over the season i didnt think they deserved to be there.

Yet again another season finishes with the Chiefs with me saying the same old line......GET RID OF IAN FORSTER!!!!!

The most stupid stupid stupid :wall: stupid stupid stupid :wall: thing the NZRFU ever did was to NOT give Warren Gatland the Chiefs job after he took over Waikato and led them to the NPC ***le. Um....does this not remind you of a Deans guy who took over Canterbury NPC team at the end of 1997 and straight away won the NPC beating Auckland twice that year. We all know what happened to Deans 4 months later when they gave him the Crusaders franchise...and we all know what happened to Gatland when he was snubbed by the NZRFU and was not given the Chiefs job but instead he got the Welsh job. AAAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

WHAT REALLY TICKS ME OFF is that the Chiefs have on average better personnel in their team every year than the Crusaders! This year they have better personnel on average than the Hurricanes! This happens year after year and they still end up losers under Forster!

So what happened to that highly motivated NPC Waikato team that Gatland trained? They went into the next Super14 with bloody Forster and sucked!

FORSTER FORSTER FORSTER AAAARRRRGGGGGGHHHH!!!!!!

The Chiefs in their last 3 games just needed to win ONE game to have a chance of the semis...or two games to be sure of a home semi. Did they win anything?????? NO! They bloody well lost all 3 under bloody Forster!

How can Forster be retained year after year with his results! He has all that talent and we see their potential when they beat either the Crusaders or the Blues every year...but then they play under their potential every other time...what the hell is Forster doing????!!!!

Gatland with Waikato killed the other NPC provinces when he brought in his version of the umbrella defence (which the Highlanders did against the Crusaders last night)...yet did Forster carry on this defensive pattern? No! Forster took them back to their useless leaky defensive pattern they have had under him...and this bloody defensive pattern was seen in its fulness last night!

Today I wear my Sharks jersey with pride! When push came to shove, the boys rose to the occasion. And in the end, that's what matters. Good on ya!
I agree with Schalk, this has be one of the best displays of running rugby this season. The Sharks backed that up with absolute mammoth defence. Barritts hit on Masaga is a personal highlight. Bismarck was just everywhere. Pienaar finally should his class at 10. Terblanche was rock solid. All round, a great team effort.

The sharks were a different side last night. They ran well with ball in hand, converted chances and had very flowing moves. There defense was a little poor but I guess they had targeted attacking and going for the bonus point. Sad that Dick Muir will be leaving.
Kankoski had another cracker,Ndungane really showed that he is springbok quality

Off to the 'Tahs were hopefully they will play like they played last night

Couldn't agree more, and we needed Robbie Deans as All Black coach....

The Chiefs disappointed me again this year, they could of quite made it to the semis this year after beating the Crusaders but blew it again...

For the last few years its been the same thing. The Chiefs start slow but then beat the best teams near the end.

As a Chief fan I would like to add something:

The coach isn't that good that's a fact, but it's the team that plays the game.
Anyway, I'm still proud to be a Chiefs fan, and I hope that when I'm back in NZ I can see some games in the stadium.
