Edit,
you meant 'lite' as in light right?
We're talking about 2 top class heavyweights here, so I guess you mean weight.
You're not going to make me actually lower myself to respond to jw

Further Edit:

You're going to compare a player on weight?

exile? u stupid emigrants with irish heritage who are fully entitled to play for ireland i understand but exile ****ing grow up u moron and read description of what a exile means, also we only have players with irish heritage in the soccer team look on the irish rugby team all born and raised in ireland unlike our english counterparts scouting for players from samoa and other nations grow up kid i see u support ulster obviously i can see some bitterness in your message i wonder why..

So, if I were to look on the IRFU website, I would see no page referring to the Irish Exiles, an organisation dedicated to finding players of Irish heritage in the United Kingdom and then helping them break into the Irish youth set up and hopefully one day the full Irish team?

Oh wait. Hang on. I would.

Its here. Term as used by your own union.

Your assumption is reasonable but wrong. I'm English and claim no Irish heritage and very little connection beyond my decision to support an Irish province in rugby. However, I'm also an Englishman who clearly understands and knows the workings of your own union better than you do.

Also, please tell me of the fine Irish heritage of Brett Wilkinson, and of all the other various project players signed over the years on the understanding that they would be eligible to play for Ireland at the end of their contract.

I was using lite as in having a lite beer. Not the weight. It was a bit of a wind-up to be honest.

It is the same clip again and again. This would infer that he only is a one demensional player, or he got lucky on that one run.

That's just my opinion....and you know what opinions are like.............

Agreed. It's the same short clip again and again. Although the 2nd clip is much better in terms of showing his ability.

Tip to Sean O'Brien:

Run at Quade Cooper. You'll score 5 tries.

You ban superprop and a worse version comes along...

As many people know SO'B actually is a very good player and only 23 I believe so will just get better he's got great acceleration, a very low centre of gravity and runs brilliant lines. The three elements of the Tullow sidestep. He's also a very good tackler and is pretty good at the breakdown. Poor lineout option though.

Just saw this thread and for god sake leave the Canadian guy alone, he just made a mild comment about the video, the reaction is slightly over the top.

That said someone suggested that O'Brien was a poor man's James Haskell. WTF? Haskell has his merits, but I think most objective commentators would place O'Brien's dynamism, work rate, carrying as in league higher then Haskell.

Many English fans will admit the guy (Haskell) is workhorse and impressive in the gym, but there is reason Stade said Bon Voyage [sic] to him. The same club offered SOB big money to move.

It's also worth pointing out that Haskell has struggled to pin down his position for England.

Not only was he European player of the year, but he was also the by some distance according to Opta Stats the best overall player. His stats for carrying and tackles were immense, so it not a case of like Chabal where he made a few hits and a few carries and got noticed. His stats completely back him.

Jerry Collins was a great player, that said, I would place SOB carrying as ahead of him, though Jerry probably more a beast in the tackle.

SOB is the premier loose forward in Europe, as has been pointed out by just about any media commentator worth his salt. How he does in the RWC is another matter, but I for one hopes he smashes it.
