Scrum-half Sililo Martens has left the Scarlets by mutual consent.
The 31-year-old Tonga and Pacific Islanders international joined the club in the summer of 2008 and has made a total of 15 appearances.
Scarlets chief executive Stuart Gallacher said: "We thank Sililo for his contribution and we wish him all the best for the future."
New Zealand-born Martens joined the Scarlets from Sale and made his debut last August against Bath.
Martens, who has played 42 times for Tonga and three times for the Pacific Islanders, played his last game for the Scarlets against the Barbarians in January.
"I'm now talking to a couple of clubs about playing contracts for next season and will also be able to spend important time on pursuing my own business ventures," he said.
