Scarlets v Perpignan

Jeeeeeeesus,
Perpignan last year had one of my favorite jerseys in their Euro kit, this year it's utterly disgusting, probably one of the worst i've seen

Edit:
Scarlets are bloody on fire!
Two very-nearly tries in the first few minutes
USAP are asleep, Scarlets are running rampant, got a cracking offloading game as well
Matthew Rees has got some pace on him as well

Wow wow wow!
Priestlands 2nd try is possibly the try of the year/decade/century/ever

All of the trys in this match have been great,
The second Perpignan one the Perpignan scrumhalf went over the ruck (legally) tipped the ball out of Roberts hand as he picked it up, slung it out the the Perp 11 who showed immense pace to get down the wing, then grubber it forward for a try

Two more Scarlet tries in the first 7 minutes! That's the bonus point in the bag,
Scarlets capitalising on every little Perpignan mistake.
Perpignan have actually done well on attack and defence, but then they'll do one little thing wrong, and Scarlets will get a try from it, it's mad.
Regan King is on fire, playing out of his skin, Priestland is having a blinder too.

What a match!
If you can find it, or at least highlights/extended highlights then watch them! Was excellent
Perpignan came from 25pts down to get a 4try bonus points, almost got a <7 losing point but missed an extra time penalty
Could've been a win if it weren't for some fantastic defence by the Scarlets in holding up a try (the ref called it back for a "forward" pass anyway, but the holding up was quality, and the pass wasn't actually forward, so i'll put it down to that :p )

YEAAAAAAAAAA! ... only got the second half, but I really needed that result as i'm currently coming 12th in the comp ... :D

great game ... i'm probably still coming 12th ... out of 12 though :p

Once again Pepignan crash and burn out of the H CUp in style...

I'm not so sure.
They had very encouraging moments, they just need to cut out the mistakes which led to a couple of Scarlets tries, i.e the sort-of-intercept (Perp player caught the ball above his head, and as he went to sort of regather it in the air a Scarlet had it), if that one try hadn't have happened then Perp could've won
Their scrum was dominant, their wings were class, lineout went well,
Really, it was a good show by both sides, Perpignan just made more mistakes than the Scarlets (also, Stephen Jones boot was more accurate than the Perpignan FBs)

I think it'll be between Perpignan and Tigers.

Once again the Scarlets show just how awesome they are with ball in haind, but how average they are without it. Their second try was probably one of the best tries I have ever witnessed, King really is a genius, though Stoddards offload was pure class aswell. The Scarlets should have gone onto win that match by 50+ points, but instead almost stopped playing and again showed how their defense can turn off at times. They gifted Perpignan two of their tries, and could have been more!

Overall today, their offense was enough to counteract their poor defense, but against the likes of Leicester, that might not be enough.

Gotta say there were some good performances from some Scarlets players today. Mat Rees and the backrow were excellent, with Turnbull once again showing how much work he get's through, he's everywhere. He made a couple of mistakes tonight, but I really think he's on the way to big things. Lyons was excellent as always. In the backs, all of them went well. For once I was impressed with Maul, as he ran some good lines off King. But Jon Davies is being missed, especially in defense! As I said, King is a true genius!!!

Edit: infact here you go, salvate over this!

Further edit: thanks olyy.

Isn't there a blatant offside at the line-out by #7? Are you allowed to come on the other side of the line-out and just steal the ball?

Yeah as soon as the ball goes over the 15m line, the line out is over. I think the ref actually does shout 'Over' too. It's a sign of a good back-row forward when they can pick that up and nick the ball. I've seen Martyn Williams do it a lot over the years.

That try is just ridiculous though, fantastic stuff! It's brilliant to see the Scarlets start playing this kind of rugby again!

Th best bit is, Stephen Jones' try was almost as good. As was Preistland's first try. Hopefully they play like this next week when I'm sat in the Welford Road stands!
