David Lyons is back at the Scarlets for pre-season training, ending widespread rumours that the Australian number eight would be leaving the region.
"I really want to be part of this Scarlets squad going forward, there is a lot to look forward to," said Lyons.
The 30-year-old signed a four-year deal with the Llanelli-based side in 2008, and has been a near ever-present since.
The 43-cap Wallaby had a clause in his contract that could have allowed him to leave after two years.
