I think he showed that he could thrive in the Stormers set-up. The fact that he did for the most part is precisely why the Bulls were so interested in him in the first place.

That said I think the Sharks missed out on a good 13. I suppose with Steyn and Whitehead they have their bases covered but still, it's an area they lacked in and where they might still get found out for depth.

But good luck to him and Cheetahs. VRYYYYYYSTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!

The reason they let him and Whitehead go was Habana. To balance the books. They could not afford them and Habana. See the problem is WP got a good academy where they start. The reason for that is to see if they can cut the mustard or not. A lot of guys didn't quit live up to potential which probably saved the union some money. But teams can come and poach the guys there. If the Bulls want to sign a guy there is nothing WP can do because they don't have the same kind $$$. That happened with Pollard.

Problem with Lambie is he comes back for 1 game then he is out injured for 2.
 
So many stars have a **** 2nd year after hitting the spotlight
Some get through it some don't.
Feel for the lad but can't help smiling at one of the Bulls buys that went sour

do i work for WP? no, even if they asked me nicely lol... do the stormers play defensively for everyone too see? do they have the best defensive record and are among the teams with lowest points (PF) scored? Yes

just proves my point even more... they themselves score a few but kill the game off on defence so the other team can't win...

squeezing and killing the game... their PF and PA does not lie... my word go look at their games...

its ugly boring but a win...
 
Am I the only one who gets more out of games where someone like Kolisi drive tackles people back 2m every time rather than the freak show 76-63 wins when two half-competent teams go at each other like girls slapping at each other and getting 'cheap' hits?

No the IRB is killing the game. The Stormers are just doing what professionals try to do. That is winning. If you don't like it pick up the remote and watch animal porn on the discovery channel

I love it too watching teams throw the ball around all over the place and get tackled the **** out of them. Sometimes people confuse great attacking rugby with bad defence.

Definitely not, love the game always, through the IRB changes, the teams adapt (or some of them), tactics adapt, new champions are born.
