RWC in 3D. Any opinions?

I noticed that the RWC is going to be shown in 3D in NZ. Not having had any experience of this I was wondering if it's any good?

Rugby World Cup in 3D

I live in NZ and have tickets to England v Scotland and Fiji v Samoa but couldn't get any finals tickets.

I think for that price I'd rather watch at a public venu or stay ay home.

Im gonna go check it out in 3D. Just so I can experience it for myself so I'm not basing my opinion on hearsay or other people's opinions. Everything should be tried once.

I've got a venue pack for Wellington and tickets to semi-final 2, so I'll be watching those games live but will try get to an All Blacks game in 3D.

I know that there's a couple of places here in Queenstown that have the rugby matches shown in 3D, but it seems that it's a quite an expensive option just to watch 80 minutes. I saw the prices were around $80 or something like that. I'd want to pay for that to see the actual game live.
