To be honest I don't see what most of the fuss is about. With players like Manu Tuilagi (who I believe is an incredible talent), people talk about the country importing/poaching talent etc. But it is still always the player's choice.
If players qualify and declare for a country they have every right to play for that country. Sure, it's a shame that a lot of players have to deny either their culture or their country of birth/childhood to do so, but it's still within the player's rights.
