Yeah guys it's a bit harsh to call the French assholes. The French Canadians on the other hand
Our Rugby culture come of the deep south west countryside (Aquitaine, Gascogne ect..(English former province in the time of the Plantagenêt and Aleonor of Aquitaine). In the middle age, theses paysans played a called 'la soule' a play in which you can do what you want. Somewhere a part of this antic and autentic paysant soul have disapeared in a modern Rugby where all the player seem the clone from each other: body builder, professional with all what that's mean as: a kind of robot player . The worst are this mediatic ridiculous show like the Parisian club try to make. Thanks for this post. To be honest, I'm a bit ashamed of what Rougerie has done during this final, we should not see that anymore in modern rugby and we know that this image will stay about this match, that is the sad thing about it. I do not think every french player is a dirty player but I feel sometimes that we are more permissive for these kind of behaviour in our rugby culture. And maybe we are more punished by referees becasue of that.
I guess this violent legend from the french is half true, half dreamed. I guess one of the explanation is that rugby in france is coming from low class and uneducated people in the past, in opposition to university and educated people in England for example. I guess this kind of legend is not totally fake and comes from somewhere. I would say anglo saxon medias are always making the most of it to put down the french whaen they have the occasion to do so. and that is what **** me off about the Rougerie behaviour : he is feeding the legend.
Saying that, frenchies had some reasons to be ****** off. All the trash talk from the media before the match, the Parra incident and a referee who did not make it easy for us...so in this perspective, I can accept the moment of madness of Rougerie but it is defenitly disgusting and stupid to think that nobody will see this.
It does not delete the fact that France has done a great match, this behaviour did not have any incident on the match itself.
And I hope like you that we will show the Rougerie incident everywhere in France (it has started already) and I hope to never see anymore Rougerie in the French team.

in personal experience, beyond 4 years. I mean come on, anyone can see that cueto scored that try!
The kick was over, no doubt for me.
In personal experience, beyond two centuries, I mean come on, Wellington didn't win Waterloo. Napoleon was about to win it, and that bloody ******* of Blucher came in !!
No one in France don't complain about the refeering, we are proud about our team. She was hardly criticized as the badest team, "the shame of the rugby" , and object of mockery "80 minutes of laughing" as it was the ***tle of one of your tabloid newspapers. They had faced three times to the defeat. They have could abandonned after the the defeat against the Tonga, doubted after the small victory against the Wales. And in Aukland in the hot heart of your Nation, face to the best team in the world very motived to win and which never lost, the french have never failed in the fight and at the end could win "if".... but they were unlucky , so is the sport.
But escuse me, such players are really greats players even in this small defeat, not just for their games but also for their mental strongness and that it's our biggest victory. the victory on youself. Yes we have a bitter taste in the mouth, paradise where not so far. But we will never complained about the referee or the state of the grass; the direction of th wind or the position of Jupiter or what ever stupids reasons. "Kopf hoch" as the germans say. Yes Heads Up and we accepted fully your victory even small it was. We doesn't contest your victory (may be some french). The Maori God was with you, thank Him and enjoy your victory with all the People of News Zealand, it's great!!. You don't imagin how we respect your team, your country and your people. Please in your legitime fest have litlle thought to the frenchs supporters and over all to the frenchs players just a glass of beer it will be nice.

Oui j'accepte toutes critiques qui peux ameliorer mon anglais/ I accept all criticizes which can improve my english. Merci d'avance, thank you by advance.Tu veux dire "a try" ( Un essai ) ou un drop goal ?
********, France is very friendly and the people are lovely so long as you make an effort to speak French when your there.
If on the other hand you are an arrogant git that refuses to even try to communicate in French then expect them to ignore you.
Kind of like when a Korean comes to the UK and doesn't speak English, people tend to ignore them cause they don't know what they're saying.
