As painful as it would be to see, I can imagine a very small part of me might see some kind of humor in it, yes.

You wouldn't guess how the events can unfold, France has the ability to self-destruct but the ABs mahcine, despite all their qualities, skills, cohesion, is not immune to that typical French trait. Let's imagine France hold their ground for the first half and score an intercepted try before half time, would the ABs press the panic button or the fifth gear. Their mental strenght and resolve has not been tested so far, maybe a little bit against Argentina but they have never been chasing the score in this rwc (just 2 mins against the argies).

I can't see the ABs losing this one and could indeed put 50 points, based on pure skill, on this French team but I have this strange feeling it won't happen as skills is not what matters the most in a rwc final.

Couldn't possibly be as funny as some of the childish tantrums and bizarre conspiracy theories that were posted after a certain quarter-final!.

All Blacks to enjoy a similar winning margin to Aus over France in 99. 35-12? Hopefully they don't have to endue any eye-gouging.

Well it actually means something to me (I have no idea why) that if we win this weekend then the time between being World Champions would have been less than 2 decades. It is something I cling to when I hear the media and others talking about 24 years of pain *shrug*
