Always think the 3rd place match is a bit pointless, but still interested to see how it goes
Hey thats not what I was initially talking about. All I am saying is South Africa is not 5th best in the world. They only lost once not twice.
First we talk about Sout Africa,Wales and now France????
It's quite remarkable how France have been part of the final 4 ever since 1995 at the World Cup. No other team has been that consistent.

Credit to France for being good enough to do that but it also goes to show that the RWC (as prestigious as it is) is not a fair indicator of who really is the best team out there, thats my opinion.
I mean theres been teams who have won the world cup and then next year after lose, lose and lose just lose but they're the "world champs". The ranking system is better IMO, I mean if we go by the RWC placing, South Africa would be like 5th best in the world???...despite losing only one game, see thats the RWC for ya. Its a great tournament but its a tournament and doesnt tell the true story of how good a team really is.
What happens after the RWC doesn't matter, teams fall apart then. If you dominate before the RWC and win it you are the best team, simpel as that. Like England in 2003 out of the top of my head and like NZ should do now.
I wonder who the ref will be for this game, I am thinking that Joubert will take the final.
Steve Walsh anyone?
Alain Rolland?
steve walsh can't [strike]as he's registered as an australian[/strike] referee [strike]for the tournament.... Maybe jonathan kaplan or alain rolland?[/strike]
wonder how the players feel about the 3/4 playoff? Aus and welsh will both be gutted right now, they got to get up and play again. Heck if NZ were in the 3/4 playoff I'm not sure I'd even watch.

When the pressure is off. Guys like Quade/Digby/O'Connor will be very dangerous. Cooper will choke a lot less, I think he will have a good game and we should win.
However, I am going for the draw. I wanna see a drop goal shoot-out!
Cooper has had enough oppurtunities I think. Berricks turn to start and run the ship. At least he can defend the 10 channel.
