It is a bit on the sad side, but believe me HB wanted to have those two sides in the game and would've tried everything possible to have got them. The way licensing is though, Sidhe secured those sides for Rugby Challenge. Sidhe have done very well with not only securing many club licenses, but with incorporating an extremely good player and team editor into their game too.

Both developers would've loved to have secured all licenses and no doubt tried very hard, but that's the thing about business, as bad as it is for us the consumer. Hey at least we can edit the squads in Rugby World Cup 2011 too though.

Also, on the difficulty front, it is apparently significantly harder as you go up through the levels. Someone has earlier said they got 53-0 as Australia against Canada on medium. That's not really that surprising though. It is Canada against the 2nd highest ranked side in the world. If the sides were switched, something tells me it'd of been much closer.

The games not supposed to be released until the 26th, so I think that might partially explain why the code isn't working.

The licenses may have gone backwards since '08, but that's because another developer was going for them too. This is a world cup game, not a multi-comp game.The game-play itself has progressed in several ways.

just finished my first world cup, winning with south africa on easy. the game-play has definately improved from Rugby 2008, its just a real bummer with the licences. That "Quinton" fly-half from Australia, that fella can really play

Rugby Challenge has a unlicensed six nations setup.

Really like the Hard difficulty, definitely is a challenge! Just finished a Pacific Isles tour with Wales, mixing up the line up between games. Was having a tough physical game against Tonga up 16 - 16 at halftime, managed to pull away after bringing on Hook and Roberts off the bench was 28 - 13 in the end, Samoa were ahead 16 - 15 just after half time, again managed to pull away, scored a few tries towards the end to win it 30 - 16. Best game by far was vs Fiji. They were all over me in the first half, and were 20 - 12 ahead with 20 mins to go. Changed my tactics a bit and kicked for the corners, scored 2 tries from mauls and a couple of penalties too, they scored near the end too for a tight finish but I just won 32 - 27. Gotta say that Fijian fly half is a beast of a kicker, had a hat-trick of drop goals, 2 penalties and a conversion. Only miss was from right out wide.

Dunno if this has been said, but while playing the demo, I took a quick throw in and the recieving player ran straight into touch by himself and then nothing happened. All of the players lined up on both sides while the clock just kept going. Had to quit the game.
