Is it bad that the first thing I did was check that it wasn't April 1st already? :p

Great news anyway, hope it's an improvement on Rugby Challenge, great to see the Lions tour added, and I bloody hope career mode is sorted out including the recruitment!

edit: Also is that Kearney I see starting at 15?!! Blasphemy! Long Live Halfpenny! ;)

Seeing as it isn't April first I'm believing this so ou better not be massing. I do however realise the rugby game pr guys are really good. Still I did get enjoyment out of the first one and hopefully this one builds on it. Hopefully you're able to transfer players from the Rabo and Top14. Happy to see they'll pay more attention to NH players.

Ha, Getofmeland can even post a link to the Sidhe announcement and he's still not trusted.

The last one was so masterful. Once bitten twice shy and all of that. I've even seen an article hinting to this on another site but was still unsure.

Awesome, this came kind of under the radar. Presumably they'll try to get the release to coincide with the Lions tour itself so some time fairly soon (or they'll just push it back to next year...)

Either way, I'm pumped.

Very very keen for this!
I enjoyed RC quite a lot, even if they left the gameplay as is, but added in the things listed above (quick taps, lineouts, no 8 pickups etc.etc.) I'd be very happy.
Can't wait!
Hopefully there isn't a big delay in release between SH and NH - I imagine they'll be looking for a late may/early June release as the Lions tour starts up on June 1st.

Sidhe bringing the controversy with Rory best at 2 and Kearney at 15 in the screenshot :p

This is exactly what I thought in all sense :p I'm intrigued to see if this is just an expansion to RC1 or is a fully fledged sequel.

Exiting times :D

Gray at 4, Robshaw at 7, Philips at 9....luckily they were smart enough to have BO'D at 13.

Wow. Cannot wait. :D

Was actually just thinking about re-getting AB Rugby Challenge. This is so cool. :D

EDIT:
Love the idea of altering the rules. :D Is it bad that I thought of sige? Though I'm not sure you can alter goalposts and how many men on the field... :p

No Six Nations or Springboks, 'Super Rugby' teams... Any Saffa sides?
I seriously hope there is no transfer lock. After all the time I have put into the rosters, it would kill me to redo every team.

RC1 was a good setup for what could be an excellent series.

They announced it on facebook so i think we can all go to bed with a smile on our face and waiting for expectations of further developments.

Must have lost everyones trust ;-)

Hey man, you did that yourself a year ago ;)

I was even checking the website for the story itself. So, unless you are the owner of sidhe.co.nz we can be sure this is the real deal...

It's on the Sidhe forums and Twitter, so it should be credible.
Really looking forward to seeing this.

Good stuff. It looks like they have customised at least some Northern Hemisphere players faces. I was getting sick of Sonny Bill Williams looking majestic, while they failed to capture Brian O'Driscoll's rugged good looks and charm.
Really looking forward to this. Went into Dublin to play the game before release last time around. I enjoyed the last game a lot, I just hope they can sort out little things in gameplay (which it looks like they've aimed to do) and annoying things like transfer restrictions and a bad transfer mode. Early days but it looks like they've taken a lot of recommendations from fans onboard, which I suppose you have to when you're working with a reasonably small market of buyers.
Also hope they don't underestimate how popular it will be on release over here. Buying a copy was more difficult than buying crack in a nunnery.
