Rugby '15 announced

Guess it's buying abroad for me.
Any french speaking savvy guys on here that can point us to a french online retailer that delivers to uk. I tried Google and got fnac and game. But have no idea to tell if they deliver to uk. Have family in Cape town but the postage system there is rubbish. Think they still use pigeons.

Wonder if it's getting released over in Deutschland before here... Think I'll get the girlfriend to nab me a copy if so.

lol, I love my country to bits and we've definitely grown, but our postal service is still beyond rubbish, especially when it comes to international postage. Pigeons would do a better job.

Just read that the delay is just for UK. It's a shame. They should delay this until a month before the world cup. It looks poor in so many ways. Graphically, definitely. They've told no-one anything that makes the game-play sound any better than we've seen before (Football innovated with it's yearly editions more in one year than rugby does in 5 editions from HB . Finally, nothing about editing, which will definitely be needed in a game with so few licenses.

The obsession with editing, licensing and 'career' modes is odd to me. From past experience, I'd say that these are things that ultimately don't add to the replay value of a sports game. What I want is to be able to play my friends with a sense that the game isn't performing to a narrow set of scripted situations which play out over and over in tedious way.
Pro Evo 2/3/4/5. on the PS2 is the best example of this. The mechanics were just so intuitive and no 2 games ever quite felt the same. RC2 was a solid game, but I still felt like I'd seen every scenario the engine could cook up after maybe 2/3 hours of play. Then I'm done. Sport is compelling because we all know the rules, and to the casual observer it seems repetitive but it's the nuance that matters. Like someone mentioned previously - give me a rugby game where the physics and fluidity are perfect, and I'll take a red team and blue team of identical looking players.

Why has there been so little marketing? Is it because it's ****? And if it is **** why don't they postpone a couple of months to improve it? I'd rather wait a bit longer than be released a **** game.

Pro Evo had lots of editing and a career mode. Two things which are very important if you are releasing a game with only half the thing liscenced.

Everyone wants a career mode. Other wise your just playing a single match over and over again. These things are important in gaming. It's not the 1940s you can have a game with good gameplay and extra features

Here they say it's released on 14.11.
Anyway, it's the only german source I found to buy the game, even Steam doesn't have it for preorder yet.
I'm not sure if you will find it in any shop in Germany...rugby really isn't that big here...unfortunately.

To be honest I probably will just wait until January so I can see what reviews are like to see if Rugby 15 will actually be worth buying!!
