Rugby '15 announced

I'd quite happily wait until Jan for a more polished game. Heck, from what I've seen so far I wouldn't complain if they scrapped it and just went straight to Rugby '16 instead...we don't need another botch-job rushed out the door for marketing reasons. Struggling to look forward to this game at the moment.

Lion, what I said was pick your lie, it's either gonna be a 2015 release or it isn't work in progress, visually it's exactly what you're gonna get. You can focus on gameplay all you want but there are certain standards you're required to meet, those bars have been raised by the past decade of sports ***les, R15 seems to ignore this millenium of gaming.

I said it a few times before, it's all about pricing now. The reviews are gonna be bad no matter how amazing the gameplay is, ridiculously poor visuals, no online at all, and comparisons to The Golf Club are probably gonna destroy the prospects of a franchise, the only thing that can salvage those reviews is a price according to the product. Anything above $20 US dollars is probably gonna doom the game.

Everyone that's played the game said the graphics aren't nearly as atrocious as the screenshots make it out to be. Let's just wait and see I guess. I'm still excited to play it. I'm just happy knowing I'm not gonna be playing a carbon copy of Rugby 08 like it was with RWC 11. There's lots more to look forward to as we're approaching a different demon this time around

still no response from posts on their facebook account asking if the delay is true, seems odd that more than one website is reporting it has been delayed and its not true, although they could just be jumping on the bandwagon

Already been mentioned via Twitter that the release is still in November ...

Looking at amazon, for next gen it will be £48.15 and current gen it'll be £35

they responded to a tweet to them, but nothing actually posted by them on twitter or facebook to deny the rumours, i really hope it is november though

That seems pretty denied in my opinion.<iframe id="rufous-sandbox" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true" style="display: none;"></iframe>

I'm still abit optimistical about it

if there is a delay hopefully it will be to improve graphics etc, as nobody that has played it has said there are any issues with gameplay/movement etc. seems like they have that nailed, just maybe ironing out some bugs and stuff

yep - the golf club is a great golf game for its price. if they release Rugby 15 with a premium price its going to suffer

the golf club still got slammed with that price anyway, but IMO its definately worth it. If Rugby15 is all skin n bones in features, i would prefer to pay under AUD$50 for it, just like i did the golf club

the golf club will flex its muscles thanks to the community generated tours and tournies. but R15 wont have a community without online

I'm interested in seeing how this plays, but with absolutely no South Hemisphere content I'll probably leave it for a while and try before I buy.

If gameplay is decent, I'll wait for someone to get cracking on the modding and maybe a Steam sale or something.
Licenses (of lack of) isn't really a problem on PC, as long as it is all accessible, and if there is one thing I have faith in, it is for rugby gaming fans to tear a game apart and find out what can be modded.

Ended up learning a fair bit on how to mod R08, so if this is the same way, should be fine. Have to hope Woosaah returns with an editor (and Intercept King, remember him?!)

yeah Draggs you are right, i modded a bit of rugby 08, and if rugby 15 easilly moddable , then i will be having a go at it
