Btw, just to clarify the 'G.Evans' that has signed for the Cardiff Blues is not the Fullback/Wing who is on the game (that's Garan Evans who's now retired) but Gavin Evans who is a centre.
Also the western mail has said that Casey Laulala has signed for the Blues, not 100% sure if it's clarified, as the Western Mail have has a habit of having random crap in it.

I have tried the Lions mod from ur page ,

Yah , I can actually see the team LIONS and some other strange teams....

But i can't play at all, I just can't

everytime It load to about 1/3 and the game close itself....

whats wrong with it ???

Do I need anything else to support or what ever it is??

To my game...I didn't install anything I installed the 08roster only!!!

If it is possible plz tell me the way how to unlock the lions step by step !!!PLZZZZ

Think you might need the kit files too, here is the 2005 Lions kits:http://www.filefront.com/12870510/Lionshomeaway06.zip

The new 2009 Lions kits will be re-uploaded soon by either Uli or myself, place the kit files in your rugby 08 main folder and see if you can play with Lions then...

Thanks for your roster, I've used a few of your SA and Northern Hemisphere players as a base for a few of my players on my current roster.

But is Pierre Spies really out right faster than Ryan Kankowski? You've got Spies at 87spd and Kankowski at 84spd,
I watched Spies come on the wing vs B&I Lions in the third test but didn't get a taste of his so called 10.7sec 100m
time on the "trustworthy" Wikipedia which is faster than any AB 100m in history. The fastest recorded being by J.Rokocoko who owns most of
if not all the All Blacks sprint times (Graham Henry certified) over the likes of J.Lomu. D.Howlett, J.Wilson and C.Cullen.

I know Spies is a freak and prob the best no.8 in the world ATM but is he really faster than Lomu??? Let alone Kankowski who gave a brave effort vs J.Nokwe during Super14??

No offence, your a SA rugby local n must watch alotve Currie Cup which I don't, but is Spies the fastest forward in world rugby? The fastest fowards from NZ are prob Liam Messam, Scott Waldrom and Adam Thomson, I went to school with Scott Waldrom and he broke every record round here for sprints and jumps as well as pole vault on the athletics field. I'm guesing Spies was the same in his homeland but I feel other loose fowards speed ratings aren't getting the recognition as some other 1-8 speedsters

spies has better pace at top speed. it is kankowski's acceleration and agility which is better than that of spies in my opinion

It's a bit of a problem regarding stats as they tend to be based on opinion over fact meaning that inaccuracy often occurs. Bias also plays a role, for example Stormers players being a bit overrated in this roster, thanks to Ross'.

I feel that the stats in the rosters need to be overhauled as there are too many average players with 80+ ratings, therefore often not recognising the abilities of other better players. One solution to create new stats would be through a communal effort but that would undoubtedly be difficult to execute. Any other ideas on improving the stats in the rosters?

I'd also agree with Savundra on Spies and Kankowski

Sorry for the roster being a bit biased but I sarted editing the roster for my own personal use at 1st and only after giving the Stormers players higher stats decided to release it for other people to use and never changed those stats of the Stormers players back to be "average" B)

Will try my best to fair and unbiased when updating the players' stats from now on

@DK15:You can always download Woosaah's Rugasmic 08 Editor and edit the speed stats of Pies and Kankowski yourself if you feel that Kankowski is quicker then Spies, All I knew when putting their speed stats in was that both of them are quick and it didn't matter to me if the one was 3speed points faster then the other one...

But thanks for the info, I'll keep it in mind for future releases...

If you think Ross's Rosters are biased you should see mine, when I edit the players I like , Digby Ioane whilest not unstoppable in my game breaks about 1000 tackles.

Not confirmed anywhere but the Western Daily Press, but Nicky Little (Fiji) has signed for Bath from Padova, as well as flanker Chris Cracknell from Exeter (not on the game). Cheers
