Rugby 08 Roster update

Hey mate, was just wondering what faces you use, I have MUP so I should have all the faces available I think but I get a lot of those red head texture errors when I use your roster updates, and most others to be fair. Is this to do with the resolution I use or is it something else.

The faces i assigned replace some generic faces. You have to use the MUP roster with MUP mods.. they go together. I would imagine you are getting the texture issue because the level of detail setting is too high for your spec.

I like this roster Ross, it's great with my Currie Cup .. do you know if the Currie Cup squads are similar to S14?

Great roster Ross :bravo: , here is some feedback:

In Toulouse the fullback name is Maxim Medrad , when it should be Maxim Medard

George Smith has as main position at Lock, when it should be 1-Openside flanker
2-Blindside flanker
3-Number 8

Also (This is just an opinion)I think that Patricio Albacete (Argentinian 2nd row)should be at least 90 he is one of the best 2nd rows in the game(if not the best), he is almost a flanker and in every game he steals at least 1 ball in the rucks.

Also Keith Earls of Munster should be able to play as center aswell

Geordan Murphy in the game is referred as Geordan only, it's missing the last name.

You can use Martyn Williams face to Gonzalo Garcia(they both are ginger and similar)

The missing surname is just part of the game. You get it with teams as well.

Thanks texture errors were because I had my detail level set too low..

I noticed some faces need changing, like Kade Poki i noticed.. he is not that dark so what i might do is make a database of faces for each player.. i know what the faces look like as i went through all of them, and i'm sure there's a face matching better than the one you gave Poki. But it's still excellent. It's just if you know what a player looks like, it bugs you.

How can I edit the xml file. It only allows me to view it

If you want to edit .xml files you can just open them with wordpad/notepad and you should then be able to edit them

The roster looks good Ross. I am using Currie Cup mod at the moment, and i played a couple of games with the Blue Bulls, Lions and Cheetahs, and it's great to have the real players with the real kits. I made a few more kits today, they all look ok in game, so i just gotta do the numbers, and then add the flags/banners.

Can you tell me Ross, when you win Super 14 do you get an in-match trophy screen? I haven't seen any file for o.models of trophies, so i wondered what file controls the actual trophy. I know the one that does trophy cabinet.[/b]

MUP09 has all the kits, but is not the Super 14 version, it adds TOP14 and some other euro teams instead.

very impressed with the new roster, its good to be able to play a fully updated super 14. just some feedback for your next version. the hurricanes are playing piri weepu at fly half this year and that position isn't availible in game.

Yeah another member has already reported that to me and its already been updated for the next release

Finally managed to update Spain, Russia and Uruguay so that they have their own players in their squads

Still busy updating Tonga, Samoa and Fiji

Fa'atau can I use your MUP roster's info for updating Tonga, Samoa and Fiji and maybe also Spain, Russia and Uruguay?

Of course you can Ross. I would just say that Tonga, Fiji and Samoa don't usually have the euro players, even for the PNC so it's best to add the players i have, but it doesn't really mater if you make a euro-based XV.
