Was inevitable. He was a great winger imo with bags of pace (not all that great at fullback though). He unfortunately had soo many injuries throughout his career, even before this latest set, and that really stopped him becoming the player he should have been. He won 44 Welsh caps, more than I thought!
Yeah, it's a shame, he was a good player for us, got a few tries and earns my respect as a true sportsman.
I was talking to him a few years ago when i used to work in the rugby shop in cardiff and he was really frank and honest with me when i asked him a bunch of questions. He was an intelligent player and if only he wasn't so unlucky, he would achieved more wtih Wales and the Blues.
